Featured Omaha Hotels

Stay at one of our Holiday Inn® hotels in Omaha, Nebraska, to discover a city of fine arts along the Missouri River. View life-like paintings of the untamed American West at the state's grandest art museum, then browse the working artists' studios at the Hot Shops Art Center.

Our hotels in Omaha make it easy to explore Nebraska's largest city. The extensive collection of American frontier art at the Joslyn Art Museum includes crisp Ansel Adams photographs and dramatic Thomas Moran landscape paintings. The museum frequently hosts concerts included in your admission cost. Families staying at our Omaha hotels love the gigantic Henry Doorly Zoo, with its cavernous underground bat caves, verdant rainforest and steamy swamp. Take the kids to the Omaha Children's Museum for hours of hands-on learning, from a fire rescue simulator to a paint- and clay-filled artist-in-residence studio.

Pop into open studios where artists forge silver jewelry, blow glass and cast bronze sculptures at the Hot Shops Art Center. You can pick up an original work of Omaha art from one of the 80 working artists represented here. Once Omaha's warehouse district, the Old Market reigns as the city's most popular shopping and dining destination. Just a short drive from our Omaha hotels, the district's red-brick warehouses now hold art galleries, kitschy antiques stores and cozy bookshops. Menus posted along the narrow, cobbled streets and passageways of Old Market advertise steakhouses, sushi bars and Italian eateries tucked behind arched brick windows. Settle into a sidewalk table at the Upstream Brewing Company, in an early-20th-century firehouse, to sample house-brewed ales and lagers.

Book our Holiday Inn hotels in Omaha in summer to join in the Joslyn Art Museum's Jazz on the Green concert series, or at Christmas to see the monumental crèche displays in Boys Town village.

Good Place to Stay
By Big Pauley
I have stayed here a few times-I recommend this hotel-quick check-in and check out-room was clean and staff pleasant-good breakfast and location was convenient-my go-to hotel in this area from now [More] on. The only thing that I would mention is you have a lot of youth sports travel teams staying here on the weekends and a big crowd at breakfast-this may bother some people, but not me...I actually like seeing the activity and all of the kids....brought back some memories from when I was doing this with my kids! Last Minute Stay Just for Fun
By MelMK
We had tickets to the Lancer hockey game at the Ralston Arena next door so decided to reserve a room for us and one for my sister's family. Found the hotel to be very clean the beds comfortable. Kids [More] loved the pool area! Breakfast area was very nice, very clean and choices were many. Biscuits and gravy were great. Really liked the pancake option vs. the standard waffle choice you see in most hotels. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. [Less]
Great business hotel
By Scott4Him
I've been at this location 2-3 times over the past year. The service and accommodations have been excellent and consistent. Staff has been friendly and helpful in suggestions of dining options. I [More] love the included breakfast in the morning - that is always a big plus in my book. Great variety and quality of foods, clean and comfortable dining area. [Less]
a perfect overnight stay
By MissAG
This particular trip to Omaha was extremely rushed -- I booked at the last minute (family emergency) *and* wanted to get out again before an oncoming blizzard. This made for both sub-par packing on [More] my part and kind of a frazzled entry to town, but the Holiday Inn Express had me covered -- restful spotless room, best hotel bed I've encountered in ages, super-nice staff, and emergency toothpaste for the weary and disheveled traveler. (And a cookie, which helped more than you'd think.) In the middle of a very tough trip, they made my day far better. [Less]
Great Hotel for the area
By GJ13
Excellent place to stay for the Northwestern Omaha area. Good restaurants near by and a Walmart close for any needed items on a trip. Friendly staff and a good, hearty breakfast in the morning made [More] for a very nice stay. [Less]
Excellent Staff

Highly recommend
By All around travel
As a person on the road 3-4 days a week, it's nice to have a clean place to stay at. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Traveling all over, after a hard days work, it's nice to know that [More] their is a friendly and helpful staff to help in any way. I've been to a lot of hotels and a rude staff makes the experience all the worse. But I will definitely recommend the Candlewood suites in Bellevue. And will stay here again if ever in the area. Clean rooms and a nice workout center that's open 24 hours. [Less]
