Great Stay
By Lisa BB
We were visiting New York for 4 days and decided to stay in New Jersey because it is much cheaper. What a great hotel. Very close to both the tunnel and the bridge. If not driving the shuttle [More] service is great. The room, staff and amenities were awesome. We will definitely stay at this hotel next year at this time. [Less]

Great location

Overall a great hotel that is within walking distance to the Javits Center. The rooms are a tad bit small for my taste but I can understand space being a commodity in NYC. Would love to see a better [More] variety of hot breakfast choices. The sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes get kinda of old after a few days of the same choices. The fruit selection was not ideal. Would love to see some danishes, scones, and maybe a better fruit variety with some fresh strawberries, blueberries, etc. The hot breakfast could be freshened up with some choices like hash browns, a build your own breakfast burrito option seen in other hotel chains. Only issues was some noise from the hallway foot traffic but that was only for a day. A [Less]

Awesome experience
By loveandjoy
This is a great hotel. Nice/update front lobby and business center. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. I was in town for meeting and unfortunately a funeral and needed a nice, [More] clean, quiet space and this Holiday Inn delivered! The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and the room temperature made it all cozy. Loved the decor and display of toiletries in the bathroom. The TV was huge - with a great selection of channels. I really enjoyed the restaurant and staff. It's very rare to have food serve hot that STAYS hot through the last bite. The menu was awesome (and I'm not just saying that) - lots of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner - or a snack too. Overall - this hotel gets a gold star! Thanks Holiday Inn/JFK! [Less]

If you have food allergies the manager( Vinnie) at this restaurant will go out of his way to tell you what meals you can eat and he will personally see to it that the meal is prepared exactly to the [More] correct specifications, The menu is varied and everything is fresh. [Less]
