ease finding motel
By lukegma
It was dark and raining the first time I came to stay at this motel. I almost passed the entrance to it as there is no sign at the road and there is a long driveway up to the motel from Thistledown. [More] Had I not glanced to the right and seen the "H" on the building, I would have missed it. Of course now that I know where the motel is, I won't miss it again. I do think it would be helpful to have some sort of sign on Thistledown with an arrow pointing to the motel. [Less]

Great, friendly staff
By MRW75
This hotel met the needs I knew I would have before traveling to Raleigh. The staff were courteous, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. While my sleep wasn't great, it had [More] nothing to do with the hotel itself, but rather having to much on my mind for the trip. I would definitely recommend this facility and return, should the need arise in the future. [Less]
A Diamond in the Rough!
By MidKnight4U
This Holiday Inn has become my personal favorite in the Durham, NC Area. It's close to I-40 which is great for traveling. I have stayed here several nights and the experience has always been the [More] same. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast bar is great and full of variety, (Turkey Sausage) that's all I ask for, and overall, the service is excellent. Even when I am not on business, I stay here just to relax for a night or two. I am completely satisfied with this hotel and have no complaints. I would truly recommend staying here if you are in Triangle Area. [Less]

Nice Stay
By Purplefinch
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times find the hotel clean and the rooms clean, stocked well...Had a few problems with check in but I think that this was due to the clerk and not the [More] hotel. Breakfast was excellent but no room to co worker and myself had to sit holding out plates on our lap in the lobby. For business or pleasure I would recommend this hotel [Less]
