Staff recognized its client base
We stayed at this HIE for a softball tournament in Carnesville. The hotel was full with families from several different ball teams. The staff recognized that the teams were getting up early to head[More] to the ball field and were kind enough to open breakfast early to accommodate the girls. I really appreciate that type of customer service.[Less]

Great place to stay in Anderson
This was our first time to stay in a Holiday Inn Express and it was a great experience from check-in to check-out. The front desk clerk was very accommodating. The young man on night duty offered to[More] make us cookies and was very friendly. My husband had teasingly asked him where the cookies were when he made this offer. We really did not want any. The room was nicely furnished with everything we needed although we could hear noise in the hall easily. Unfortunately the shower curtain did not work well for us and water leaked out. Maybe we needed to put both parts inside the tub. I was amazed at the selection of food available for breakfast. The eggs did run out before my husband got any but probably we could have asked and gotten some. We just did not have time to do it. Checkout was a breeze. Overall this was an excellent experience.[Less]
UPON CHECK IN, I NOTICED I WAS GIVEN A ROOM WITH 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS. I REQUESTED A KING BUT THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME AT ALL.[Less]
