Featured Knoxville Hotels

Book one of our Holiday Inn® hotels in Knoxville, Tennessee. Browse local artists' work at the Museum of Art before spending a relaxing afternoon in Market Square, sipping iced sweet tea at a patio café.

The Knoxville Museum of Art collects a range of 20th- and 21st-century works by eastern Tennessee artists, from abstract paintings to mixed media mobiles and bronze sculptures. More than 800 animals, including such crowd-pleasers as Bengal tigers, African elephants and giraffes, draw visitors to the Knoxville Zoo, just a short drive from our Knoxville hotels. The world's largest basketball, a whopping 10-ton, orange-and-black sphere, rests atop the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Part museum, part interactive sports venue, the hall honors women players of all levels and includes indoor courts where visitors can shoot hoops after their tour.

Our Knoxville hotels are near Market Square downtown, a favorite spot to shop, dine and relax over drinks. Once Knoxville's original city market in 1854, Market Square now hosts a bountiful farmer's market, spring through autumn. Knoxville kids love to play splashy tag during the summer in the central spouting fountain. Nearby antiques shops sell silver candle holders and primitive Southern crafts, and boutiques offer trendy hats and leather jackets. Relax at an outdoor patio on the square, dining on Tennessee barbecued ribs or chicken-fried steak and glasses of sweet tea. After hours, order a tumbler of golden Tennessee whiskey. Guests of our hotels in Knoxville enjoy First Friday downtown, a monthly evening of gallery openings and live music at art galleries, pubs and in Market Square.

Stay at our Holiday Inn hotels in Knoxville in spring, when an hour's drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park reveals blooming rhododendrons and redbuds, or in fall, when the park's hardwoods burst into brilliant reds and oranges.

Nice Hotel
By The LU
Hotel was great. Rewards program needs some work. Staff did an excellent job. No issues with this stay. [Less]
Wonderful place to stay
By mimicar
We visited this hotel for two nights. Our room was clean. The breakfast bar was awesome! It is close to all you would want to do. The only complaint I would make is that the hot water took way too [More] long to warm up. That would not stop me from staying here again though. The staff was very friendly as well. [Less]

Wonderful Rest
By DS1958
Very comfortable bed, immaculately clean room. The fitness room had excellent and up to date equipment. Breakfast allowed many choices and facilities and equipment was clean and well cared for. Staff [More] was very kind and courteous. [Less]
Nice relaxing stay
By MySecret16
I would highly recommend staying at the Kodak location. It is right off of Highway 40 and away from the mess of Gatlinburg. There are nice restaurants in the area and some shopping without having to [More] get into the tourist area. We had a very nice relaxing weekend. Breakfast was excellent!! There were many choices from eggs to pancakes. They always have the best coffee too.!!! The staff is very friendly and warm. [Less]
Really Nice Place
By T Jaye
This is a really nice place to stay! As recommended by the desk clerk, there is a great restaurant within a short walk. This hotel has a really friendly and helpful staff. It sits off the main road [More] so we felt confident our vehicle would be safe in their parking lot. We were traveling south for a two month stay so we were "loaded" with stuff. The breakfast is great. The breakfast set-up woman was constantly switching pans of food to make sure it was all hot and fresh. She was remarkable! Everything is clean and top notch. Beds were comfy, shower was strong with plenty of hot water. We were very pleased and will absolutely stay again. Also convenient to Sevierville for shopping or entertainment. [Less]
Great place

Room is always clean efficiency at check-in but most of all staff is very pleasant and welcoming your stay [Less]
Good facility, but lot of noise from passing trucks.
By Tourist987
Slope of the road in front of this inn causes many trucks to downshift and decelerate as they approach the intersection below. This produces a loud engine noise that could be heard in my room. [Less]
Good Staff, Clean and Quite
By lehmad
Another hotel did not work out so we had been driving for almost an hour during a rainy night looking for a hotel room. The staff was great, the rooms up to date and clean, our stay quiet and the [More] price was reasonable. We ended up staying an extra night than expected. The breakfast was nothing special, but the food was good and the place clean. [Less]
