Good value, nice room, comfy beds

The Best for Breakfast deal; not real exciting if there is only 1 selection to choose from. [Less]
Nice Hotel
By lsd05
The staff was very accommodating as we did not have a reservation and they were able to get us into a room immediately. the room was large and clean and there was no noise. I usually avoid staying [More] in the first floor but when you don't have a reservation you take what you can get and I felt safe with me and my family and there was no outside noise. [Less]
Quite stay
By Golf Nutz
Overall, a nice quite room with no disturbances. Restaurant staff could have been a bit more accurate with the bill, had to point out mistakes in giving change. NOTE: error was actually in my [More] favor, but didn't want the staff to pay for mistake. [Less]
First Trip to Washington
By Mikejh
Only a 400 metre walk to the White House gates and less then 15 mins walking to pretty much all the places you want to visit in washington. Great hotel with plenty of it's own history. Excellent gym. [More] Only disappointment my kids had was no movies available in the room. [Less]
Best place to stay in DC

Quite Memorable!
By DavidO2156
The Willard Intercontinental was the perfect way to begin our first trip to Washington D.C. We were blown away by the beauty of the interior right away, only to be followed up with friendly service [More] from the front desk. At every turn our stay was more and more incredible. We later had to switch hotels to meet with a group, but every night and morning we sighed, "I miss The Willard," or "This is certainly isn't The Willard," or "I miss my old neighborhood, at The Willard." Thanks for spoiling us! [Less]
Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded.
By SCer13
Absolutely great stay overall, especially with this hotel having complimentary parking (rare in DC). The Wi-Fi was pretty bad overall and should be upgraded if possible, but no complaints otherwise. [More] The staff was amazing answered all my questions in a timely fashion and even called to see if my room was up to par. [Less]
Excellent hotel!
By Josie1305
Everything found on the hotel's website is true! It's only one block from the Metro, it's in a safe location, they have covered, complimentary parking, the lobby is very nicely decorated and looks [More] new, our room, which was a suite, was huge, and the room service menu was very reasonable - especially for DC! Lovely hotel: only criticism was the breakfast. No fresh fruit on offer (when I asked for some, it arrived but I was charged an extra $3.50) and the cooked food was not very hot, even though we were [More] in the restaurant as soon as it opened in the morning. No croissants or pastries, either. I had previously been staying in a hotel in NYC where the breakfast selection was extensive. so in this respect, the breakfast here was very disappointing. After the first morning, we went elsewhere for breakfast. In all other respects, it was a great place to stay. There was a lovely walk into Washington DC and transport links were excellent. We would definitely stay here again. [Less]
