I was greeted by Moe. He was courteous, thorough, and engaging. I think that the experience was better because Moe was at the front desk.

When checking in the front staff was rude, I had a question about how breakfast worked, because at the holiday inn we stayed at the night before we were given a ticket for breakfast that showed that we had a $20 credit essential because the breakfast was in a Resturant connected to the hotel, all he said was "no" and kept looking at his computer. So we ended up not eating breakfast because I didn't know any different. The rooms were not nearly as nice as any of the other holiday inns we stayed at, I took my son on a 5 day road trip and stayed and 3 holiday inns on our path. The other 2 were amazingly beautiful and staff was so friendly.

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Nova90 Stay over Spring Break to visit DC
Convenient transportation to Metro and King Street-took about 20 minutes overall to get into DC.
Overall quiet hotel inside, except can hear some plane noise from nearby Ronald Reagan Airport
Decor of rooms somewhat dated but was clean and beds were comfortable.
Got the package that included breakfast and parking which seemed to be a good value.
Hot breakfast buffet with reasonable selection.
We were able to have our dog stay in the room which was a big help to our travel plans.
Overall enjoyed the stay and would conisder this hotel again when staying in the DC area.

A standard hotel with nothing special. Had all of the basic amenities, but everything looked dated. Perhaps one of the worst wi-fi connections I've experienced in a hotel to date. The staff were very friendly, which was a plus.

In another visit to the DC area, we have once again stayed at this hotel. The place is conveniently located not far from the Alexandria downtown, easily reached on foot for your breakfast in one of the local places. It is also very close to the DC-Mt. Vernon trail that runs along the Potomac and we always love to use it for an early morning run. Trader Joe's is nearby if you want to pack good things on your way home. Underground garage with elevators to all floors not with card access is quick and effective. Alex, the front desk in the evening was very attentive to our needs, making the check a breeze after our long drive.

Good hotel for the area, parking is secured but there is a charge to park at the hotel, there is no alternate choice for the traveler. The hotel is situated in downtown area.
