Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by DAV Chapter 133's 3rd Visit This was Disabled American Veterans Chapter 133's 3rd visit to Rosslyn HI from Pompano Beach, Florida. We always have a great time there, you treat us like family. Most of us are Vietnam Veterans, we come up there for the Marine Corps birthday & Veterans Day celebrations. You're hotel is perfectly located to all the sites & train stations. The only issues I had was the large grab bar in the tub, I kept bumping into it, also the AC in the dining area was a bit cold , our food got cold quickly. Other than that, my 3rd trip was great! 21. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great hotel in great location If you are on vacation in the DC area and you want a hotel that is close to the metro and that has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and worry free, this is the hotel you should book. Only four metro stops from Reagan Int'l airport and another four stops to the National Mall and all the Smithsonian museums. 20. November 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by excellent service, but hotel needs renovations When I arrived last week the heating and air was not working properly in the room. Also the shower fixtures are difficult to work, they are outdated as well as the shower door. It came off the track when I was trying to open it. Anyway, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, view was outstanding, and service was superb. The staff was very friendly and helpful and came quickly with anything I needed. The restaurant was very nice and the staff there were super nice and attentive as well. We ate many meals there and the food was good. 20. November 2014
Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Decent Bed, Free Parking, Room Moldy, Front Staff Lacking Graciousness Front desk staff is a hotel's first impression, and the male front desk clerk ruined this stay for us because he argued with me about my home town and surrounding area. I was recognized for my Platinum status, but they were "out" of member gift. Points WERE offered, but unfortunately, the amount of points offered were not posted to my account. While I was offered a lovely upgrade to a suite, the room was oddly organized, the furniture was dirty, and the room smelled strongly of mold. The silk flowers were dusty, and while the bed was more comfortable than average, the two most convenient outlets didn't work, and we had to hunt other places to charge our mobile devices (in a suite!). All in all, a disappointing visit from a hotel chain I've had wonderful past experiences with. 20. November 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by What a great find The location is excellent. They allowed us to park there free before check-in later in afternoon. We walked one block to metro/subway and did sightseeing returning in evening to check in. The front desk staff was very helpful in giving us driving directions to our evening destination. The manager/waiter of the breakfast buffet was excellent--competent and quite efficient. Cheerful and "on the ball." Highly recommend. 19. November 2014

A short walk from Georgetown, and the metro is just a block away to connect you to all of the great places in DC. Definitely stay here if you are going to be out and about! The room was spacious and comfortable. I had a room facing the water, so it also had a great view. The only complaint about the room is: not enough power outlets in useful places! There was no outlet close enough to the bed to plug in my phone to use it as an alarm. I actually pulled out the side table so my phone could rest on it and still be in (sort of) reach of the bed. This could be easily remedied with some more of those lamps with the power outlets in the base. Otherwise, the room was fine. I really liked that mine had two sinks, even though I was on my own, so that I could get dressed outside of the small bathroom and do my hair with plenty of space. The 17th floor restaurant is well worth it for breakfast and for the view. Sit by the window and watch the boats float down the river while enjoying endless coffee, fruit, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, sausage, bacon, all the breakfast staples. It was the perfect way to start my day. 18. November 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Convenient and comfortable I have stayed in this hotel twice a year for seven years while in DC on business. It is conveniently located near a Metro station, the front desk and breakfast service was excellent, and the room was well-maintained and comfortable. There was a little cost-cutting apparent since my last visit (fewer hot dishes on the breakfast buffet, and no discount voucher for dinner). Still the best value near the Pentagon. 18. November 2014
