The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable. The halls were quiet given that there were so many kids there for a hockey tournament. It's a great place to stay. 22. Januar 2015

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great Stay, as Always! I have stayed here many times when visiting family. This is an older facility, but the continuing renovations make it very modern. Homey feeling and a stable staff. This time there was snow & below 0 temps, so the staff had quite a lot of work to deal with the ice & salt we all tracked in. They did an excellent job! 21. Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by OK Stay: Rooms were very stuffy, beds small and uncomfortable First time staying an overnight at this hotel. Full size beds are just not meant for 2 people. Every time my husband or I would get up and out of bed it would wake the other person because of the bouncy-ness every time someone got back into bed. The room was really really hot. I got up about 5 different times to adjust the thermostat. I even turned the A/C down to 60 degrees (this was a cold Upstate NY January evening too) and the air would run for about 2 minutes and turn off. Very uncomfortable night of sleep. Staff was very courteous and friendly. But hotel could use some updating with rooms. How about at least a queen size bed and updated thermostats? 15. Januar 2015

Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by new years eve we were there for new years eve. the hotel itself is very nice. we have stayed there many times. as for new years eve this is our second year and we have decided we will not be coming back. it was very unorganized. it took three times before we got a table and we made our reservations in the beginning of dec. I was very upset. we will continue to stay at this hotel when we are in the area but we will not be coming back for new years eve. 9. Januar 2015
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by New Year's Eve We stayed at the Holiday Inn for their New Year's Eve Package. The room was great. The staff at the front desk was awesome! We have done this package in the past, and it was really great. This year, however, it was a bit disorganized and mediocre. In the past, they had 4 bartenders which cut down on wait time, this year they had 2, and they seemed a bit inexperienced. In the past when it came time for dinner, you were informed by a server that it was your table's time to go through the buffet line. That did not happen this year and it was very disorganized. In addition, the buffet used to be down the middle so you could use both sides, this year it was up against the wall, which added to more wait time in line. They did run out of items, prime rib was gone by the time all of the folks at our table got up there. The food we had was good. When we finished our dinner, all of the desserts were gone as well. Not sure what happened this year, staffing changes or what ever, but it was very noticeable. The band was 'okay'. Other than that there were not complaints, but hey, that's all part of a New Year's Eve experience right? Dinner, Drinks, Music...no driving, well one out of 4 isn't bad, we didn't have to drive. 5.
