Stayed here for two nights to attend a family wedding. The hotel appears dowdy and old fashioned. The bar and restaurant were particularly un-appealing and so we did not use them, preferring to eat outside the hotel instead.
The bathroom was mouldy with a rusty radiator, and the furniture in the bedroom looked like it was salvaged from a secondhand shop.
The overall impression is that the hotel trades on the reputation/notoriety of the Holiday Inn name. It needs upgrading and refurbishing to make it a more attractive prospect to persuade me to return.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were efficient and dealt with my problems straight away. Breakfast was good and staff did not hurry us along at all. Nice environment.
I stayed at the hotel with my other two sisters in the same room and they also enjoyed their stay. We will be booing another weekend away and I will be booking it with Holiday Inn.

stayed two nights at weekend. easy to find. free parking. family room was a good size, modern, with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. mattress was very uncomfortable and didn't get a good nights sleep on the first night. the sofabed my daughter had was also extremely uncomfortable and we had to put blankets under the bottom sheet to try and soften it and stop the springs coming through.
breakfast was good and fresh with plenty of choice. didnt eat at night as never do in these places as its better and cheaper elsewhere. plenty of well known chains nearby. didnt use wifi as it kept trying to charge us even though its supposed to be free. the small tv was disappointing and couldnt use freeview guide as the tv clock said it was 6pm in May 2014 when in fact it was 9pm in august. overall i wouldnt stay here again. we only did as the other holiday Inn in Aylesbury was full.
