Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Easter brunch and stay over Attended the Easter brunch with grandchildren. First class as always. Have attended several times before; great food, great service. Stayed the night before and that night, Swam in the pool, relaxed on the balcony, got an evening snack at the bar. According to my wife, never snored like I do at home. Would recommend to all. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Quite a surprise Definitely a surprise checking in. The place is set off the road, almost giving one a woodsy type experience driving in. The lobby is beautiful, staff friendly and the overall cleanliness and elegance elegant. The facility is beautiful and much nicer than my typical experiences with Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses. The only problem I had was the fire alarm going off and having to leVe the building around 8:00 am. It wasn't a drill andI didn't see a fire, thank goodness. But Hey! I have that happen to me several times in hotels all over the world, so no big deal! Will definitely stay here again! 7. April 2015
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Old Old Old This hotel was built in the 70's and hasn't been updated since. Brown duct tape holding the curtains together. Peeling wallpaper in bathrooms. Decent burger at restaurant. Public areas seemed to be well kept. Doing business in the area, good enough for that purpose. 4. April 2015
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by just a nice hotel I travel a lot for business and this hotel didn't leave a memorable visit that =s not to say that is bad. The hotel was nice I was disappointed that there was no mini refrigerator in room the cable selections were lacking some, and the room was not outlet friendly. Also the elevator layout is bad. there is only one and in my case I ad to walk past about 20 room to get to mine. 4. April 2015
Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Keep an extra eye on your stuff. I stayed here Monday March 31st through Wednesday April 1st. As I normally do when I travel for work I unpacked all my stuff so I was not living out of a suitcase. Part of this included putting my iPod nano and Bose in ear headphones in the drawer of the TV stand along with all my other workout clothes. On Wednesday the first I packed up my stuff, loaded up the car, finished up my work there (as I was attending an event) and left. At some point in the day (prior to checkout time) I walked from the conference center to my room to use the restroom but saw that it was being cleaned. I returned to the conference center and at the end of the day I left. Unfortunately when I got to the airport hotel for the night in Boston I realized I had forgotten my iPod and headphones in the drawer. “No big deal” I thought to myself, I’ve left items (clothes, even a kindle) on accident in hotels before and they are usually quite happy to ship the items back. I called that night and was informed that the room was unoccupied, but nothing has been turned in yet “Housekeeping doesn't usually clean in the drawers” was what the front desk clerk informed me (which itself is slightly troublesome, I had my clothes in those drawers). I was transferred to housekeeping and left a message letting them know where I had forgotten it and how to get in touch with me. The next morning I got up and drove to the airport. By 9am my flight was getting ready to board and I had still not heard from housekeeping. I called the hotel again and spoke to another front desk clerk, I told him I had forgotten my iPod and headphones, I told him where it was, and I told him how to get ahold of me. The front desk clerk informed me that he will go right now to check on it and call me back. After the 6 hour flight home I turned on my phone to find that there was no voicemail from housekeeping or anyone at the hotel. I was starting to get worried at this point, this was now my 3rd call about my forgotten iPod and headphones. I called again, and spoke to another front desk clerk who transferred me over to the head of housekeeping. As soon as she picked up I knew something was wrong, she started off the call quite defensive and rude. “I searched the room personally and found nothing” she told me with attitude “I was the only one to go in that room since you checked out.” Which was not true as I walked by the room on April 1st to see housekeeping cleaning it. At no point did I hear anything along the lines of “I’m sorry sir, we were unable to find it, if it does turn up we will let you know.” Or anything remotely resembling proper customer service, just an incredibly defensive head of housekeeping. I find it quite ridiculous that it has come to this. IPods and headphones do not just sprout feet and move on their own. If it wasn't in the drawer where I left it, and it wasn't in any of my luggage, where did it go? Especially since the room was unoccupied on the night of the 2nd. Why did I have to call 3 times just to get some kind of answer, why after 3 calls did I not get a single ounce of support from the hotel and was instead treated like I was in the wrong, as if I was bothering them by trying to get my property returned. Please beware of this hotel, if you have to stay here do yourself a favor and pack a luggage lock (as they do not provide in room safes) and lock your valuables in your luggage. I am now without an iPod and headphones because of this and had to go through a horrible customer service experience as icing on the cake. 4. April 2015
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Some good, some not so good Room was clean and comfortable. Dining menu was limited and service slow. We were part of one of the large groups staying and they were not staffed to accomodate the number of people dining. Also a dog show was taking place. Noone was made aware prior to booking and a few of us had dog allergies. The lobby smelled like a wet dog and the dogs were taking up the lounge area that night. 1. April 2015
