The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, including booking concert tickets for us at very short notice. We stayed in a suite (Platinum IHG Rewards Club upgrade) which was roomy, well decorated and included a coffee making machine with a collection of coffee pods. Although initially planning only to stay one night, we were so pleased with the hotel that we extended this to three nights and hope to return in the near future.

The room was very well equipped , clean and fresh.
It had everything you need, coffee, hair dryer, iron, large TV, etc.
Wifi was fast enough to read news sites and check E-mails.
Bed is comfortable, though a bit too soft for me.
Noise insulation is excellent, although there is a wide highway close to the hotel, inside the room it is absolutely silent.
Bathroom was spacious and light.
Breakfast was tasty, and what I like is that there are small tables that fit well for business people who are most of the time staying on their own.
The hotel is easy to reach, located on the Budapest-Vienna highway, and it has a free of charge parking.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jordan64 A perfect Stay!
I stayed at this Holiday Inn for 3 nights (14-17 April).
Location: Hotel is in suburban Budapest and just off a major motorway but As I was not driving I explored the option of getting there by train.. The station (Budaors) is 700m walk from hotel and trains (S10) are twice hourly most of the day. Depart to / from either Deli Palyaudvar stn (Last stop of Red M2 Metro Line.. journey time 12 minutes) or Kelenfold Vautalomas stn (last stop on Green M4 Metro Line.. Journey time 6 minutes).. Tickets available from the machines in both stations (250Huf/ 90cent o/w) or from conductor on trains. Trains are new, punctual, very clean and efficient. Conductors speak english.
Hotel; Big (pastel pink) Hotel next to a HUGE Shopping Mall (Tesco) surrounded with landscaped gardens. Big reception with bar and lounge area, computer station etc.
Reception: Staff were very very warm, welcoming, Professional and efficient (excellent english). Check-in was fast and organised with points voucher and daily comp english newspaper also.
Room: I had a room on floor 3 overlooking the tennis courts, which was large, clean, bright with a real KING bed (HUGE and comfortable!), TV, Tchibo Coffee Machine with selection of capsules/Tea etc, Desk, Chair etc. Room was also very very quiet.. though there were almost 100 students staying at the hotel also, they were all in their own wing. (dinner was noisy but i think that means they were really enjoying themselves and the buffet!). Decore in the hotel is fresh and very Holiday Inn!
Bathroom.. With Shower, hair dryer, toilet/bidet was bright, clean and good selection of toiletries plus shower gel dispenser.
Facilities: there is a large sauna for guest use on 3rd floor (free) and 2 clay tennis courts. Massage can also be arranged for those who are bone tired from touring! The weather was great (27c) and the gardens are well maintained and a good place to sit and relax. Other than that there is a major shopping centre 400 meters from the hotel with great selection of shops and restaurants so you wont be bored!
Bar and restaurant: I must say in all my travels and stays at other Holiday Inns, that the food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food selection was not less than 5 star (Compliments to the chefs!) There is a nightly buffet dinner (plus a la carte menu). The buffet was extensive with a great choice of mains (meats, fish and vegetarian options) and deserts plus soup, and salads.
Breakfast also had an extensive selection (hot and cold mains plus cereals, fruit, cold meats, breads etc) plus freshly brewed coffee. Prices for breakfast and dinner buffets were very reasonable considering the standard of food and selection.
Overall: Dont let the location put you off!.. Deli station is just behind Budapests Royal Castle and main tourist area and has great connections to other parts of the city. You can be from hotel to downtown in less than 30 minutes by foot/train! There is also a taxi/bus option but be aware the hotel is at the other side of the city from Airport. Lovely hotel, great value, excellent professional staff and defo on my list for a return visit as there is so much to see in Budapest and 3 days was not enough.
