Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Lovely staff but hotel shabby I use holiday Inns quite a bit for business. I found the staff to be very friendly, although when I booked my room, I booked a double, but when I arrived I was given a twin room, but had been upgraded to an executive room. I would sooner have had a standard double room than a twin executive room. It has been many years since I have slept in a single bed, and did not enjoy the experience. The hotel generally was very shabby, and in urgent need of having some money spent on it to bring it up to standard. The corridors were in need of decoration, and the room furniture was past it's best. Worst of all was the lounge furniture in the bar, which actually had the stuffing hanging out of it. The road noise heard from the room at night, even with the window tightly closed, was loud enough to spoil my sleep Another odd thing was that the bed side lamps would only work when the bathroom light is turned on !!!! I found this very strange, as the only way to read in bed without having to get up to turn lights off was to leave the bathroom light on. On the plus side, all the staff were very good, and the food in the restaurant was a very good standard, with daily changing menu choices. I will stay at this hotel again, but not until it has had a complete re-fit, as the nightly rate charged at the moment is certainly not in keeping with the general condition of the interior. 20. Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Corby Holiday Inn Road noise really bad, double glazing offered little or no sound suppression. Was woken at 9am by housekeeper even though I had placed the do not disturb card on the door, after working through the night and getting to bed at 4:30am I was extremely annoyed to be woken at that time. I had even spoke to the reception staff while checking in that I would like to left as I was working locally through the night. Really disappointing experience, should have slept in the car and saved myself and the money 19. Januar 2015
Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Would think twice about staying at this hotel again I specifically requested a quiet room, as a good night sleep was paramount for my son and I. After I went to the room that was allocated to me I discovered that it overlooked the car park and the main reception was below. Having previously had a bad experience in another Holiday Inn hotel where guests congregated for cigarettes at the cigarette bin outside reception I requested an alternative room. This second room, I discovered was above the function room. With functions on both nights this was by far NOT a quiet room. The noise was that loud that there was no way I could get to sleep until the music was turned off around 0030 on both nights. I appreciate that this was the last weekend before Christmas and that parties will be on the agenda but surely NOT to the detriment of hotel guests that are not partaking? This was an important competitive weekend for my son and I and we needed a good nights sleep which we were unable to get. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends at this time of the year unless they are intending to join in the party season. 30. Dezember 2014

As we were attending my brothers house for his birthday we did not use the amenities available. staff were excellent. The only let down was lack of heat in room and bath gel had not been replenished also shower head was loose and water lacked power 17. Dezember 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by spa weekend I came on a spa weekend with three others and we had a great stay. All the staff where welcoming and very helpful. The treatments where excellent and so was the food. We would definatley come and stay again! Thank You! 12. Dezember 2014
