Breakfast with haggis is a highlight, and Andy the chef is good company. The hotel could do with more personable staff like Andy. The dinner half-board option needs improvement, because it covers only 18 pounds and no drinks, and staff at the three restaurant options don't keep track of that well, and the hotel book-keeping adds minor extra false charges that I had to catch at checkout (something to do with the hotel computer generating false charges if you take the carvery option, the best option if you're hungry). The WiFi internet was fairly solid on my fourth-floor, south-facing room but could be stronger, and there's no ethernet point if you need stronger. The 24-hour internet tokens were an unnecessary pain, and you needed separate tokens with password for laptop and smartphone. Not smart.
