Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. The executive room was very nice and modern. The restaurant area was clean and the bar staff very friendly. I had a pretty good meal in the bar area, which was cooked fresh and came out in good time.
Overall the hotel was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone for business or leisure.

Previous experiences have been mixed (although most positive), however sadly this franchised IHG has slipped in standards more recently.
Commitment to the IHG loyalty program means I try and stay in applicable hotels whenever the opportunity arises, however the unpredictable customer service and room amenity standards at this hotel means its one I'll try and avoid in the future.
If you're looking for a "business stop over" or flying from Luton then lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed!
My personal experience was negative with regard to any IHG membership acknowledgement, room standards (my room was dated and dilapidated, they've also stopped the free bottle of water which was much appreciated) and sadly front desk attitude - I had errors with my bill on check out however I had to conclude to simply pay it to avoid any embarrassment (there was a huge queue and i didn't want to cause further delays for everyone)
I hope the franchisee's can return this hotel to the standards it used to deliver....
