Rooms seemed musty. We feel very lucky not to have been given a room near the elevator as those rooms were very close and the elevators were busy with a full hotel.

Thought the over all experience was good, great staff, nice rooms and a great breakfast to start the day. We stayed seven days and enjoyed many of the sights in and around San Diego that I hadn't seen in over 30 years. It was nice to return to a clean room at the end of each adventurous day.

Front desk personnel greeted guests routinely, they were each professional and friendly in conducting business and answering questions, in person and over the telephone. When we called the hotel in advance of our stay, the manager was helpful with specific requests and we were accommodated.
Have stayed at this property before and were satisfied with both stays.
Do recommend this property to others who will visit in San Diego.

I had very pleasant experience while in La Mesa's Holiday Inn. The staff are nice, it is centrally located to food and shopping as well as to my business.

We were satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Our only gripe was the noise of the air conditioning unit which cycled constantly for the duration of our stay and which made the room either too hot or too told with its automatic temperature handling.
