The adjacent public car park is a great bonus and they offer a discount for hotel guests. Whilst our room was quite small, its not a criticism, it was very clean, very quiet, - we had an inside room. The rate we were charged was a fair rate given the standard of the Hotel and its excellent location. The Bar/Restaurant attached to the Hotel offered a great choice of foods and drinks and wasnt ludicrously expensive July 1, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WELCOMING EXPERIENCE From the time we walked through the doors after being dropped by our taxi we were warmly welcomed by Gary, assisted through a very efficient check-in process, settled comfortably with cups of tea (complimentary) whilst our room was made ready for our unexpected early arrival. We made frequent use of concierge services (Gary) and found the advice given accurate and helpful. Through his knowledge and interest in us as guests, Gary added value to our experience of London. Our booking was for 5 nights at the beginning of our holiday and for another 2 nights at the end thereof - on the basis of our experience on arrival we actively looked forward to our end-of-holiday return stay. Dining room staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. June 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by they get it just right As a regular solo traveller it is nice to have hotel staff who make you feel so at home. The hotel is as good as you expect from the IHG group in terms of facilities etc - all excellent but the staff in the Bloomsbury Holiday Inn are really exceptional. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything we needed Myself and a friend stayed here for 1 night as we needed to get to St Pancras early to get our train to Paris. The check in was quick and the receptionist was very friendly. The room was spotless, comfy beds and good shower / bath. Lots of TV channels and movie choices. The hotel is also located next to a shopping area which has a lot of popular clothes shops and restaurants. Loved our stay and would definitely return! June 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant stay We travel to London several times a year for the weekend, mainly to see a West End show and always shop around months in advance for the best value hotel. This was one of the more pricey hotels we have stayed in but we were quite happy with what we got for our money. We had had a bit of a mishap with our booking which ended up with us having a standard room and our daughters who were arriving the following day just for one night having an executive room.However, on explaining this to the receptionist we were upgraded to an executive room ourselves for the weekend which we were delighted about. The room was spacious and clean and the mars bar, apple and bottled water which come with the executive room, although a bit of a bizarre choice, were appreciated I misread the offer though and was disappointed to find that breakfast is only included automatically with a Holiday Inn Express and so hadn't been paid for in advance, consequently making the rooms not as good value as we had thought. I believe the breakfast was around £16 so we didn't bother and ate breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is very convenient for the tube and it is a pleasant easy 30 minute walk to Covent Garden..There is also a small Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys all within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Gym is a commercial operation across the street which means it is a large and well equipped operation - probably better than having one in house. Rooms are a little tired but the team and location make up for it. June 26, 2015
