Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Average Stay, and there's plenty of room for improvement ! Upon checking in I was over the moon when they decided to upgrade me to an Executive room, especially after a long haul flight...I was ecstatic ! It took me a while to find my way to the room, as I didn't know there was a special elevator for Exec rooms...the reception staff preferred to watch me get lost and giggle behind my back rather than offer a helping hand. The room was great, spacious, comfortable...and I liked the small touches like having a chocolate bar near the kettle, it was great. Room service was quick, a little pricey compared to other HI hotels on that street. I decided to take a shower in the morning just before my checkout, and realised there's no hot water ! I waited almost 20 minutes and there wasn't anything at all. I raised this with reception upon checking out, and the girl was mumbling and thanking me for raising this, and they will have a repair man look into it. I was thinking well good for the next guest, and what about me ?!! 2. März 2015
Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Poor heating in room on 3rd floor The room on the outer corner of the third floor was cold and difficult to heat, even when the heating was kept on the whole day. The tiles of the bathroom floor were ice cold. The hotel reception had recommended the bus shuttle from terminal 2 to the hotel. Moreover the bus driver only accepts sterling in cash or prepaid bus tickets, no credit cards! Very helpful for non-UK residents arriving at Heathrow without cash. Next time I will take a taxi. The transfer by bus from terminal 2 to the hotel took one hour and 20 minutes including waiting time for the bus. 2. März 2015

Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by IHG Account card issues Had a mixed stay at holiday inn heathrow. There seemed to be some confusion over my IHG Business Account card. We ate in the restraunt, drank in the bar and when presented with a bill at the end of the evening was told that I could not charge this to my room as this was not authorised and need to pay here and now ? When I advised its on a company account, it was embarrassing when still advised I was required to pay up, when I refused, advising Inhad never had to do this in a holiday inn before I was physically pursued into the reception area,. Strangely enough the account has been charged for the food and drinks too as normally happens, therefore I am still confused as to what the issue was that I was pursued about ? Shame really as this hounding account members for payment spoilt my stay, I felt I was trying to do something wrong or underhand, the hotel needs to train thier staff better on understanding IHG account cards. Tip: When booking online via priority club, at check in confirm your IHG account card is accepted for food and beverages too, saves to arguing later. 26. Februar 2015

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Amazing hotel if you want to have a good night I was positively surprised with this hotel as I was expecting it to be your "average next to the airport hotel"... but no, when I arrived I was greeted by the welcome desk that were very nice, I was given the internet access, my parking was arranged, all good. My room was also great, wonderful mattress, amazing pillows everything one can expect to have a rested night. The only 2 things I liked a bit less... the room was cold when I arrived (had to turn the aircon on) but quicky the room got at a decent temperature, and I wish the showers had a bit more pressure, because that would be so good. But my overal opinion was very positive. 24. Februar 2015
