My only negative experience at the hotel was not being greeted as an IHG reward member and there was no offer of a drinks voucher or bonus points. Otherwise my stay was very satisfactory, the reception staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was as expected for a hot buffet (fried eggs undercooked, scrambled overcooked and bacon you could break your teeth on :)) but the choice of English and continental was very good. The housekeeping staff (2nd floor) always greeted me in a very friendly manner and understood that I was working nights and were happy to accommodate my needs for coffee etc. when they were unable to service my room.
In summary, my experience of London hotels, both yours and competitors has not been very good but I have been pleasantly surprised with my stay in London West and will be returning for the next 2 weeks.
Many thanks and keep up the good work - your housekeeping staff were probably the most impressive aspect of my stay, I only wish I had thought to get their names, hopefully I will see them next week and forward them to you for recognition.

I booked this hotel due to very near my work place, experience was great from the start i checked in but when i went in my room had some problems with heating and the speed of internet, mentioned this to their senior manager next morning in the lobby who took this very seriously and apologized and assured this would be fixed straightaway. I came back in the evening and found everything fixed and a complimentary voucher for a drink at the bar as a gesture, really made my day and made me feel really cared. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will come back to stay here again.

My Husband and I were supposed to stay two nights but the room even with the Air Con set to 12 was too hot to sleep in. the bed was also very hard. Breakfast in the morning was cold and the service was poor. When we checked out a day early we spoke to the duty manager and all he could say was sorry we still had to pay for the night and breakfast we did not use. Not happy and will not use this site again and more than likley not Holiday Inn ever again
