Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Business trip I arrived late approx 10pm. I had booked a double room and was given a twin with tiny beds. I was given room 101 which was very noisy as it only had a paper thin wall between it and the bar. I complained about it and they just said sorry nothing we can do. They didn't even look in the computer or try to sort anything out. They just said the bar closes at 11 or thereabouts and it will quieten down then. They said they would try to move me the next day but didn't guarantee it. I booked my room months in advance and I was given the last and worst room in the hotel. The staff were not friendly or helpful at all but rather dismissive. I'm sure I was tired after a long drive and possibly slightly grumpy but I wasn't rude, I just wasn't happy with the terrible room. The night manager told me they don't normally sell it because of the proximity to the bar. At 2.30 in the morning I spent 10 minutes trying to call reception to complain about the noise in the bar. There was no answer so I had to get up, get dressed and go find a manager. I think the night manager was called Anil but I was tired so I wasn't paying too much attention. When I found him he agreed to move any noisy guests away from the bar and he said he would move me in the morning as I was staying for two days. To be fair I was moved the next morning but I had to move my own bags. That's not a big deal under normal circumstances but they could have had a porter do it for me while I was out for the day. Due to the late night disturbances I wasn't up bright and early ready for the day. The room I was moved to was better and I slept fine the next night. The lady on reception gave me a voucher for a drink at the bar the next day which was appreciated. 16. Dezember 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Quick overnight stop Used this hotel for quick overnight stop to avoid getting up at a stupid time to get to Luton airport, didn't fancy staying at the airport hotel so stayed here instead, only a short drive to the airport. It was just what we wanted so we could get up feeling refreshed as we had an almost 6 hour flight to Egypt Would stay here again. 12. Dezember 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Comfortable and friendly hotel I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good choice of self service food at breakfast from full English Breakfast to cereal and fruit. Resaonable choice of food for dinner. I had the Sea Bass which was very tasty! 5. Dezember 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Overnight stay for dinner dance Nice facilities plenty of parking. Didn't use the leisure facilities as not enough time but pool is very small. Room saficient for needs bed was decent and comfortable. Duvet was a bit thin, couldn't see a blanket. Our room overlooked the front and the A5 main road which I found very noisey even through the night. Breakfast staff weren't very efficient and when I asked for Gluten free bread was disappointed to be told it had "run out". Sausages were a bit anaemic but bacon and eggs were ok. Could do with more variety for Gluten free diets!! especially as so many people affected by it theses days. 26. November 2014
