The prices have risen up from the last time we came. A pity. The breakfast is really good but too expensive

Staff at the reception desk was drunk during the night shift and i was receiving unethical behavior
Internet is very expensive and slow.
Awesome breakfast and food

Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. I would have expected it to be in the room rate.
Also, should include detail about how to get there on the S-Bahn from the airport as its not well served by public transport

Well Munich isn't cheap and it's hard to get hotels some times. This one is a bit of a walk from the train station but it's not that long to travel to the centre of the city. No free wireless in the rooms which in a city as sophisticated and business like as Munich is inexcusable. There are free computers in the foyer though which worked fine.
It's a bit out of the way this hotel and be aware that if you're trying to catch a flight in early evening leave plenty of time because of traffic jams in both directions on the main road outside the hotel. Not much in the way of restaurants nearby but the in hotel one was a very pleasant surprise. A decent and fairly good value meal, substantial size and creative.
Room decor, well, it's interesting and quirky in a way. It looks a bit dated in some respects being all brown solid wood throughout the entire room, including the 4 poster bed, but it's traditional and a nice touch, just for being different. Nto the most comfortable to sit on though.
Staff were very helpful with a nice touch of bringng up a small welcome gift.
Munich isn't a place for cheap accommodation generally and while this hotel is at the cheaper end of the scale it can still be expensive. Compared to similar hotels in the area though, it's better value.

We had a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Munich! Super breakfast buffet, great food at the restaurant Stueberl and overall friendly service. Sleeping in these beds is like sleeping in heaven!

I fail to see any advantage to Priority Club. This hotel did not include Breakfast (21 Euro), parking was extra (18 Euro) and no Free Wireless access(8 Euro) . I would have had to pay more for the extras than I did for the room.
I was woke up at 8 am by house keeping knocking on the door when my check out was not until 11:00.

the hotel states it is on a metro line. truth be told it was more than a mile away. it also stated that a taxi ride from the metro if you do not want to walk the "less than a mile"is 600Euro. again, the truth is 770Euro at least.
there was no wireless, no refrigerator and no english t.v. with only three or four german channels.
no restaurants nearby.
