Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, comfortable bed and nice rooftop pool Check out the rooftop pool which only opens from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Make sure to get everything out of your vehicle if you wanted to park at the hotel. The beds are comfortable and good water pressure in shower. We only wish there was a small fridge to keep cold drinks and a microwave to warm up leftovers. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. May 28, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Noisy Stayed in this hotel for our first trip to New York. The hotel is ideally placed as it's close to Times Square and a shirt walk to many of the main tourist sites in New York. However the hotel is very noisy with many banging doors throughout the night and also noise from the adjoining room as the walls are very thin. Disappointed that we were unable to get a coffee or cup of tea in the morning as the bar was shut and the cost of drinks was very high. Guys on concierge were good though and very knowledgeable on tourist sites etc. Another minus was that I didn't get any reward points from my stay as I didn't book it direct. Will remember that ext time I book a hotel stay. May 27, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good location but a mouse appeared in the room I stayed here for 2 nights with IHG rewards points. They assigned a room located on the 16th floor and it had a very nice view of NYC. Its location is good for sightseeing of NYC as well. But, first night, while sleeping, I heard some strange noise but I ignored it. Second night, around 5AM, my wife heard same thing and she turned the light on and found a mouse on the table where we put bread in a plastic bag. A mouse seemed to try to tear the bag to eat bread. We were going to check out in the morning so we decided not to change the room. When checkout, I complained this to the front desk and the manager came out and apologized for that. They suggested free breakfast but we didn't have enough time so I got to have 10,000 rewards points instead. I liked Holiday Inn but it was an awful experience to sleep with a mouse for 2 nights. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Usual Standard I stayed at the Holiday Inn Midtown in Manhattan from May 9th. Although the bedroom corridors looked tired and jaded the rooms are large and reasonably well equipped. My room had a safe, essential when traveling on business. I would have liked to see a fridge in the room, but that wasn't critical as the air conditioning was efficient. As always at Holiday Inn staff were competent, efficient and interested. Overall the hotel provides good value for money and I will be happy to stay there again. May 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice if you ignore the bathrooms 1. Asked for a place to recycle our plastic bottles at the front desk. The staff person said they do not have special containers, but we could just put it in "that bin" and they would take care of it. It was a trash can, and obviously would not be recycled. It's bad enough not to have this, but then to lie and say it would be "taken care of' was inappropriate. 2. The bathroom was VERY outdated, the paint peeling, the equipment (commode and shower) old, a real turn-off. The rest of the room was quite pleasant. 3. We had asked for a "high floor" and were placed on the 3rd floor. It was only for 1 night, so we did not bother to change. 4. having a feather pillow or 2 in the closet would be nice for those that do not like the small plump firm pillows. May 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet, Relaxing, and friendly This NYC hotel had an inviting entrance, with a friendly bar (and friendly staff)! The room was quiet and the bed was great. The meeting room was perfect for our crowd and the lunch in the cafe was excellent, as were the staff that were anticipating our needs. Thanks! May 19, 2015
