Hotel location is perfect for business meetings in Milton Keynes with it just being off the motorway. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is clean and comfortable although bathrooms do look a bit tired compared to rest of room.

Thank you so very very much for my Son and Daughter-in-Laws Wedding Reception such a wonderful event. It exceeded expectations on so many levels. The team were incredible to work with and so supportive and accommodating!
2 weeks on and everybody is still talking about it!

thank you to all the staff you were all brilliant you made us feel very welcome.thank you also for making our son and daughterinlaw wedding day a special 1.staff couldn't have done more for us if they tried. I will come back .

The hotel was great, However at the bar we were harassed by a drunken squaddie, who would not leave us alone, as much as we tried to get away.
The night manager asked him several time to stop swearing and leave us alone, however he would not listen. The night manager then disappeared and we did not see him again. When we decided to take our drinks up to our room, he followed us and kept us downstairs for about 30mins and would not let us leave. We were reluctant to go up to our room because every time we started walking way and said we were going he would follow us and we didn't want him to know what room we were in. My partner had to get quite firm with him in the end, which thankfully did not turn nasty but could very well have, based on how much the squaddie had drunk.
Was very disappointed with the lack of support we received from your staff and when we mentioned what happened the next morning whilst checking out, the receptionist just said oh yes I think I know who you are referring to, with no apology of form of action.

I was very disappointed to find that my allotted room was on the top floor, three flight of stairs, no lift, even though there was disabled parking. My wife is severely disabled and I had pointed this out at the time of booking. She was unable to climb the stairs. Another room was offered on the ground floor but not an executive room that I had booked. After considerable negotiations a reduced charge was agreed and I was very pleased with the result.
I found all the staff very helpful, polite and professional.
I was there to attend a wedding breakfast and I must comment that the food was under cooked and quite uneatable. The morning breakfast was cold and my table was not laid up, I had to first request a clean cup and ask for utensils. Had this been late in the morning I might understand but this was at 8 o'clock.

Brilliant as always, would use this all the time if it was not always full!!! Emily and Adrian were great in restaurant and evening meal was superb

Decided to use this HI as we were visiting family nearby, we booked online and chose a Junior Suite option. On arrival the receptionist happily informed us we were being upgraded to a Suite, which I thought was odd as that is what I’d booked. The downgraded "Executive Suite" did have a lounge with a sofa placed directly in front of the built in wardrobe, effectively preventing reasonable access to the hair dryer which is fixed to the wall inside. The 2 chairs and table I think had been leftovers from the bar area and looked to be stored in the room rather than to be part of any design, and that was it! No TV No soft furnishings it honestly looked like a store room with bright lights, we wondered if they had removed everything to accommodate the laying of a new carpet and had forgotten to put it back or perhaps they had been burgled by a previous guest.
The bedroom had a large bed, not the four poster advertised on the web site for a Junior Suite but 2 singles pushed together, I know this is becoming more common but in this instance proved to be highly uncomfortable. The TV in the bedroom was huge and could only be watched whilst sitting on the bed and which took up almost the entire desk area making that space practically unusable. The kettle, tea coffee was also in the bedroom (so why have the lounge). They did leave the robes and slippers on the bed which I suppose would have been a bonus had we had a comfortable environment to enjoy them in.
The bathroom was a good size with the large towels and toiletries you expect from an executive room however the tap was broken, though this didn’t prevent the bath/shower being used and some could claim it could cause a minor injury but in reality just added to the overall negative feel of the place.
Very disappointed with this stay and with this HI treating reward nights for platinum elite members differently to other customers, for example this hotel removes it's complimentary items such as bottled water and fruit basket from a room being used as a reward night, note… they should also remove the "With Compliments" notice instead of leaving it on an empty tray. They should be encouraging reward customers to want to come back as they are obviously loyal to the brand after all you have to pay and stay often enough to earn points for a reward night in the first place.

From check in to check out all of the staff I encountered were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Excellent service forwhen you travel around a lot on business. A lot of holiday inns could learn from the staff here. A special thanks to Carlo, Anup, Beth and Craig for looking after me during my stay.
