AS stated in previous comments I was charged $25.00 for what they called inc hold. It was to be reversed the next day. I just got my credit card statement and it has not been reversed. This is the reason I delayed in responding to the survey because I was waiting for my credit card bill.

I was staying at the Niagara Falls Holiday Inn location for the first time. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed nice and clean on the outside. The hotel was located near my meetings and near the Falls, great location! However, when I entered the hotel, there was a lot of construction going on the main floor. When I checked into the hotel, there were two gals behind the desk chit chatting. After several minutes, they turned and acknowledged me. The systems seemed to have been down, as they had to imprint my credit card info and write it down on paper. I received no recognition as being a Platinum Elite member, which isn't the end of the world. Along with no recognition, I was also downgraded in the size of my room. The hotel was vacant, only 6 cars in the parking lot all day long. There were only maybe 3 lights on in the hotel rooms the entire time from occupied rooms. The whole situation seemed odd...
On the plus side, the location was great and within walking distance to the falls. Breakfast cost extra but was quite filling.

Renovations were being done so lobby was a mess. But the price was cheap and I slept fine!
