Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location near Niagara Falls The Holiday Inn at the Falls is a super location next to Niagara Falls Canada. Very easy to get to the falls view, Skyon tower and IMAX. The food was good and service good. One problem was I was speaking in Hamilton Canada and a roll over on the freeway closed it down. I tried 4 times to call the front desk to inform my wife that I was going to be late and waited for the front desk to pick up 5-10 minutes each time and they never did. Finally I called the restaurant and had them physically go to the front desk to ask them to get off the phone so I could get through. Maybe a policy is in order for personal use on the phone. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn The only good thing about this hotel was its location. Otherwise there were no qualities in this hotel. Worst staff, cleanliness, Internet, decor, and amenities. I will never suggest this hotel to anyone and it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. August 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place To Stay This was a two day trip with my wife and 11 year old granddaughter. It's only a short walk down the hill to the falls. I considered getting a room at other hotels with a falls view but the prices were way higher than the Holiday Inn. Parking is free and at the falls view hotels there is a $25.00 to $35.00 a night charge. Who needs to see the falls anyway from your room after you've seen them all day. The room was spotless and roomy. We had the dinner/breakfast package and the food and service was very good at Coco's in the hotel and outstanding at the Skylon Tower. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. For a two night stay with meals the value was great. August 17, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not keeping up with standards I stay in hotels fairly often and am used to the high standards I usually find at Holiday Inn. This hotel was definitely not up to those standards. Decor and upkeep was definitely behind the times. While acceptable from a basics standpoint, it's seen better days. Staff were functional but quite unfriendly slow. They also did not anticipate needs the way I've gotten used to expecting at Holiday Inn. It was kind of a throwback to staying in cheaper hotels in University days. August 17, 2015

We purchased a package which included dinner at the Skylon Tower and breakfast at Coco's. Both were a nice additions to the room. Although both meals were from a limited menu there were plenty of options. The hotel is within walking distance to many of the attractions, including the falls, casino and Clifton Hill section. My only complaint was with the wi-fi service. The service was very spotty -- the only place I could get consistent service was on the balcony in the room. Everywhere else, it took several attempts to connect and then it would disconnect after a short time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. August 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Check-in Staff Check-in staff very courteous.....stay went down hill from then on.....no luggage cart available at check-in, finally found one in the rear parking lot!!!!!!.....rooms comfortable but outdated......bathroom door would not close.....coffee pot did not work.....bathroom counters were not wiped down.....TV service intermittent.....minimal stations available when it did work.....maid did not understand nor speak English.....and on and on!!!!!
