The place is amazing and I and my wife were in the same hotel before. This time the whether was so windy and the windows makes a lot of noise.
Overall the experience was good

Living in a "vulcano", what a great idea, but...
At check-in staff did not know the roomtype booked, and they hardly spoke English.
We booked a superior room. We wanted the balcony facing the inside of the vulcano. Here we could sit in the evening with a glass of wine.
On the website there were two chairs and a table on the terrasse in superior rooms.
Reality: Only some of the rooms on the 3rd floor were equipped with that. Not one room on the 2nd floor had chairs on the balcony. We were at 2nd floor.
Talking about chairs: Only ONE chair in a superior room. That is not Holiday Inn standard: One person sitting on the bed for a week.
We do expect drawers in a Superior room.
Underwear, socks and many other things were "staying" on the writing table and on the floor.
Do you know, how much stuff my wife brings on our holidays?
One glance from the door and you could see it all. No discussion about: Where did you put this, and where did you put that?
In the bar: Expect to collect the beers at the bar. We were served only twice in a week.
Restaurant were modest.
One evening we met six of your hotel guests in a nearby fastfood restaurant.
We could have used the restaurant for one week, but used it only twice. Food was not served as described in menu:
We ordered chicken with mushrooms and baked vegetables. Served: Chicken not with one mushroom and fried potatoes.
Breakfast: If you like cakes for breakfast, then it looked good. If you want bread and fresh fruit, this is not the place. Bread-rolls were NOT from the same day. You could not cut it, you could not bite it.
On Sunday: No hot water equals no bath.
We were offered a new room, but the water was also cold.
Monday: No cold water.
Internetconnection had to be renewed every day...
Dearest Holiday Inn,
We have never before used your internetconnection to try to book a room in another place.
We did that the first four nights. We did not succeed. So we stayed.
You can easily improve:
At least two chairs in a room.
Give the guests an experience in your restaurant.
They will stay and come back many nights.
If you do not improve, we will not.
We were lucky anyway. You gave us only sunny days with nice weather.

nice place for stopping point
between Naples and pompei.
easy to access to shopping mall and food court.
Clean room and Nice view Balcony.
one thing I do not like, The staff over there, I felt uncomfortable moment. I request two keys for the room but she, reception, denied my request. It was first time like this. I do not get it at all. Why not!!! There's no welcoming for IHG member.....
