Excellent service every day and always with a smile, staff always very busy, reception, breakfast and Restuart/Bar always very accommodating. Excellent gym and pool facilities which are all now available after refurbishment. Rooms are always spotless after a good cleaning daily, as I spend more than one week at this location every month.
If there is a down side it is the fact that the hotel is still going through a refurbishment on the rooms, this is being managed very well to try to minimise as best practicable any disturbance to the paying guest, this is to be expected as this hotel goes through this upgrade, but the staff more than make the experience worth while.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years without any cause for complaint, however... I was recently sent a £100 fine for parking for 24 minutes!!
Beware, you will be fined if you stay beyond the 15 minute maximum.
I was dropping off equipment to be taken offshore the following day. I was delayed whilst finding out the keycode for the door. I had no idea, at the time, that the parking limit was in place. I still have no idea how I would ensure I do not get fined again by having an "Authorised Vehicle"??
I will NEVER stay here again. I'll be staying up the road.

Yet another great stay at The Holiday Inn, staff are very welcoming and helpful, the room was great, asked for a quiet room and our request was met, we had a very peaceful sleep, thank you Holiday Inn Norwich North. The only thing we could critisize is the fact that on entering and leaving the hotel we had to endure smokers just outside the automatic doors, not very pleasant when you get a lung full of smoke, and the smell, maybe the hotel could move the smoking area futher away from the entrance. Overall we enjoy our stays here.

Paint peeling off the walls, staff that cannot be bothered and cold rooms with poor sound proofing. That's what awaits you at this hotel.
Breakfast is a similar mess, cold food, dried out and left for too long.The bar closed at 10:30pm despite plenty of people still wanting to use it.
This place needs an upgrade.

Booked refurbished rooms, didn't get them. Dirty windows, shabby furniture in bar. No xmas decorations in the party room.

Great room, lovely staff, however not having a lift which goes to the guest floors and no one on hand to help with luggage will always count against a place.
The descriptions in the menu did not match the overpriced offerings and, as usual, the specials were off!
A great shame as this place could be lovely if only a little thought went into things.
