I'm always amazed by the differences in standard between the hotels in this group. Nottingham did what it said it would deliver but the breakfast standard was poor with overlooked and dried out fare. The eggshell in the scrambled egg egg was not a nice experience. The hotel is convenient, was clean , warm and secure . My best experiences with Holiday Inn are always with the Express standard. Is it that the franchise owners care more? I think the 4 stars need to try as hard

We had a mostly good stay. The executive room was quiet and peaceful. The only problem we had on a cold day was the heating stopped working and an electric smelly heater was given, which sort of worked. The bed was very comfortable and dinner was good value in the restaurant with the set menus. I am still waiting for the 500 points from checkin hopefully that won't take too long.

Excellent stay and very professional staff. The breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly.
