The moment we arrived the hotel didn't provide us with any
}information or welcome points once we was checked in to our room. we
}entered our room and found it was very cold and we called reception to
}say that the room was cold and we was told to adjust the radiator
}knobs, and we did but it was still very cold for the next 20 - 30 mins
}(thinking it shouldn't take that long for the heating to start working)
}Then i decided to i'll have a quick shower to freshen up and proceeded
}to the shower to turn it on but nothing happened no water... but water
}was coming out of the tap but nothing from the shower We complained and
}the staff had said that the should isn't that complicated to use and i didn't know how to use it...
}but looking at the shower there was only 2 taps Hot and cold mixer and
}the water on and off.. not really hard to use after the staff making us
}feel as we so stupid we are unable to use a shower.. we was eventually
}given a different room... All was ok for Valentines day.. no issues
}except for the frosty "murmured" hello from the reception desk and and
}the rude staff in the breakfast room On 15th on Feb My Wife Purse was
}stolen from her while we was out sight seeing... under the Eiffel Tower
}and we spent most of the walking to the police station. After having
}walked 2 hours back we reached the hotel and mentioned what has happen
}and we have no money for any food, and we asked if there was any
}biscuits to eat or a something to snack on as we haven't eaten for 7
}hours the staff member just said coldly no and just laughed in our
}faces the next day on the day of check out we asked the staff if we
}could possibly have a few light snacks from the breakfast after she had
}spoken to the manager, and after said had stopped laughing at us we was
}allowed to have 2 pieces of the smallest croissants known to man i know
}we was lucky to have it but not having eaten for almost 19 hours it
}wasn't really enough to sustain 2 people so i did ask for more and
}collected a few more pastries, The the Staff in the breakfast room
}called me to collect the tray which she was holding to give me, but she
}put the tray down and made me pick it up as it i was a beggar and an
}untouchable person i would like some compensation for the way my Wife
}and i was treated i understand the loss of money was nothing to do with
}holiday inn and the staff but being treated so badly afterwards - on my

This was my honeymoon
1st night on entering the hotel, There no welcome except for a slight congrats which was barely loud enough for us to hear
Checked in and the Room was Cold and the heating was off, Called reception and we was rudely town to Twist the heating controls on as the AirCon/Heater wasnt working
Was about to have a shower and no water, and the staff member said we " You don't know how to use a Shower" After insulting us and then sighing loudly on the phone she came up to the room. to really feel the cold and and see we know how to use a shower and that no water was actually coming out of the shower.
Then she promptly changed our room
on the 15th My partner was a victim of Pickpocketing thieves, after we had told the Staff what happen the they just laughed.
No compassion at all to our situation,
Yes the theft was NOT done by the hotel, but after we had mention we have not eaten for 7 hours the staff just shrugged their shoulders and laughed
In the morning on the night of our checkout and no food for 15 hours The staff at reception staff with no compassion while laughing said they will give us some thing to eat. its wasn't really enough 2 croissants
The Breakfast staff Were also rude
This is the worst place Ever

This place of nearly border of City of Paris, but the location of this hotel is nearby metro station! My main reason of staying at this hotel is to visit ParisExpo Porte de Versailles, but this place is quite good to access there! In addition, unlikely another Holiday Inn Hotels, this hotel is based on French Traditional building, so I could imagine 'I am In hotel in Paris!'. Even for international hotel chain, this hotel provides REAL French taste of staying with international standards. Highly recommended!

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by over2klb Great Boutique Feel hotel with Metro within steps and great service
My family stayed here in two twin rooms on the third floor between Christmas and New Year's day. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. They were very clean. We had one room in the front of hotel and one in back. Road noise was not a problem. The rooms did get a little warm but we simply opened a window to allow in some cool air. The towel dying racks in the bathroom were great for drying clothes too. There was a soft and firm pillow for each bed.
The neighborhood is very nice residential area with restaurants, bakeries and a nice cheese shop very close. We bought cheese and baguettes for picnic lunches, which worked great. There is a street market that sets up 3 days a week which was nice to peruse.
The Porte de Saint-Cloud metro stop is literally steps away from the entrance to the hotel, it's the number 9 line with good connections all over the city. We did take the train from Paris Charles De Gualle Airport, which cost about 10 euros per person. The cab to return was 65 euros (fixed price, arranged by front desk) so you have to decide if it's worth the difference. If I had known I probably would have paid the cab and saved the aggravation of changing trains and carrying luggage.
I would like to thank Bertrand at the front desk for the excellent suggestion of how to get to Versailles by train and bus. Very easy and inexpensive. Also my daughter left a ring behind and he retrieved it and shipped it back to her. A big thank you to him.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The touristy sites are not right outside your door but are very easy to reach by train.
