Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 Great Location and Shuttle This was a great location for me was able to save some money by not having to get a rental car. Take the free shuttle from OHare, its a bit of a walk from the terminal to the shuttle pickup area, but free and easy. Harry Careys for lunch is great, a little on the pricey side but this is also inside the hotel. My rate included a free breakfast, the buffett was pretty basic, eggs you could drink thru a straw... My only drawback was breakfast here, the waiter Luis reminded me everyday at least 2 if not 3 times that my coupon didnt include tip, that behavior really irratated me. 24. April 2015
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Strong recommend but Harry Carey food prices are scary We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone from the desk staff to the housekeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. We stepped out for some sightseeing in Chicago for a few hours, returned, and voilà, our room was in tip top shape. There is no pool or Jacuzzi, but that is all for the better, because we did not have time for swimming, and invariably small hotel and motel Jacuzzis fill up with noisy high school and college kids (not a hater, just saying) who would prefer older folks like us make ourselves scarce. We found the pricing at Harry Carey's, the adjoining restaurant, to be steep, so we headed downtown for a great steak, caprice, and chocolate ice cream cake at an estimable competitor. This is no big surprise, I realize that in house restaurants tend to be expense account places, probably because the restaurant has a captive audience from the adjoining hotel. We found ourselves at Red Robin and Denny's for eats, although we stopped into the Harry Carey bar for a delicious Merlot night cap and truly appreciated the outstanding service. Also breakfast there, especially with our discount coupons, was greatly appreciated. I did notice the waiter was not real sure what to do with the coupon, and he ended up voiding our purchase by using our coupons for both days to cover the Saturday meal. He appeared somewhat irritated with the whole process. I'm not sure if I forgot to hand him the coupon, or if he dropped it, at any rate all's well that ends well. We wound up going to Denny's for breakfast on our second day. I think the people working the front desk, a stone's throw away from the wait staff at Harry Carey's, should remind them that patrons will be appearing in the morning with breakfast vouchers, so be prepared to honor said vouchers, even if you have to ask. That is my only regret with coupons or vouchers and such in general; often no one cares or knows about them so they are difficult to use. Another minor issue: where's the pop machine? I was trapped up on the seventh floor without a pop machine, which for us is sort of a tradition. As soon as we unpack we head to the refreshment room for a cool beverage. Also I noticed the phone in our room was broken and some of the wall paper is peeling. These are minor maintenance issues and not deal killers. All in all a great experience and I enthusiastically welcome this wonderful oasis from the airport madness with just a few minor reservations. 22. April 2015

Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Never coming back Internet service was horrible - unable to connect and staff and internet support could care less. Phones in room did not work. ADvised the front desk on check in and two days later on checking out they still have not been replaced. Good thing there wasnt a medical emergency that we needed to contact someone. The indifference of the staff to attending to these itesm made sure I'll never be back 19. April 2015
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Comfortable rooms The stay was great but did have one issue. My wife forgo her Ipad in the room and didn't realize it till we past security at the airport. We left my son's name as the person who would pick up the Ipad. When he stopped to get it, it took 45 minutes. First they claimed they didn't have it then they said it was locked up and need to come back in 2 days when the manager was available. He puched the issue, turns out the manager was in the hotel at the time.How does this occur? 16. April 2015
