A beautiful hotel with excellent service. Every member of staff I came across was helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I've stayed here a few times now and always feel welcome and looked after. I run courses there and the conference staff are brilliant and we always have a tasty lunch provided.

A hotel which has definitely seen better days, appearance all round was very "tired" and the guest rooms are way past their best before dates.
Posters in the hall advertising a Priority Club points promotion for 2012 just add to the air of faded glory.
The quality of food was excellent and the attention of the restaurant staff was good, but slightly let down by an understaffed and busy bar.
The window in my room was almost falling out the frame with rot and the mattress had more lumps than a bad custard.
Overall the staff try hard but this is a hotel which needs some money spent on it.
