Have used this hotel on 4 separate occasions and will do again in May 2016. It is for one night with parking whilst we are away on a cruise. Location is perfect for the cruise terminals and the shuttle service to and from the ships is very efficient. Breakfast choice is comprehensive and well presented. Quality is wel above average. Rooms are clean and well maintained. TV hiccup this stay was unusual and staff response was pro-active.

My wife and I loved the hotel for its proximity to the City Terminal where our Celebrity cruise departed. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, although the HVAC was old and did not provide temperature control to the degree that we prefer. Superior staff throughout. Front office staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, Excellent restaurant with nice variety of well-prepared food. Fabio, our waiter one night, was first rate, as was the woman who was in charge at breakfast. Reasonable rates at a very convenient location. We would return here without hesitation

Arriving at hotel, car park barrier would not rise. Waiting after a four hour drive was not good.
Breakfast next day was very poor and what was available, was lukewarm. There seemed to be a shortage of staff and we couldn't afford to wait for the supervisor to make a complaint.
On return, we had misplaced the number for the taxi. I rang the hotel from Guernsey to get it. It was provided and I was told to inform the taxi firm of my details. The taxi firm were most unpleasant next morning when we arrived at Mayflower dock. The person I spoke to was most unhelpful and said I would be charged unless I could provide a 'docket' number. I explained and also pointed out I had telephoned the hotel. It made no difference. The hotel did sort out the problem. I know I lost the docket number but this was rectified I thought by ringing the hotel from abroad. The taxi firm were awful.
