The air conditioner leaked water all over the carpet, and had an awful musty smell in the rooom.

The ladies at the front desk were curt, impatient and acted as if we were an imposition on them when we checked in.
Room was not ready at 3, we had to wait until almost 3:45
The breakfast was terrible - the eggs were overcooked, a poor variety, and the pastries stale.
The AC was broken in the room.
Very disappointing experience.

This has to be the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in! Even though it was full, I was able to relax and sleep soundly every night of my stay. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and so helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

For the most part it was a comfortable and quiet stay. The only complaint I would have would be no free breakfast for the guest, for the price you pay, had to ask for toilet paper to be replaced and Kleenex, also needed a clean sheet for the fold out bed, they just gave us another bed. Be sure to ask if the fold out in the sofa works, the one in our suite was broke and they didn't tell us that at check in. The pool was nice when a guest could swim in it due to all the children's swim lesson's going on throughout the day and not heated.

My first visit to Boston I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The staff at the front desk were pleasant and friendly. One of the reasons I reserved this hotel is because of shuttle service. My only gripe was the fact there was no shuttle bus available because the host of the conference reserved it for the duration of their stay. This left the rest of us who didn't rent a car scrambling for transportation to the center. I understood I would have to get transportation back to the hotel.

I base most of my hotel experiences on customer service, I believe even a average hotel can make big marks by having great customer service. As a Platinum IHG member I do prefer Holiday Inn but when you get such great service it just confirms why I stay in the IHG family.
