Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Needs Action Unfortunately it is the Christmas period where all care for regulars goes by the way. Colleagues and I stayed for three nights and were very disappointed with the service, particularly the restaurant that on one evening had a Christmas function which took priority over the guest’s restaurant. The leisure facilities failed to meet expectations with the male toilets being out of service as well as the Sauna with no sign of repair on either. Room though clean and tidy was not replenished daily. Very disappointed with this stay compared to a number of previous stays - ah well it's Christmas!!! 16. Dezember 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Nice Hotel with a great Pool We stayed here to visit family, having previous stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the road (which was unfortunately full). Reception staff were courteous and helpful and check-in was quick and easy. We were offered assistance with luggage but did not require it, however with a young baby and small child, a lift would have been handy, even though the hotel itself is only 2 levels. The room was clean and spacious enough even with the pull out bed and a cot had been provided on request (although I had not had confirmation one would be provided so we did bring our own too). The shower curtain however was a little dirty and one of the towels, although obviously laundered still had dirty marks across it. Breakfast was a little expensive (the Express across the road has free breakfast) so we skipped this option. We were surprised by how good the swimming pool and change facilities were - really worthwhile if you have time. We all slept pretty well and check-out was a breeze. We would recommend this hotel and may well stay here again. 10. Dezember 2014
Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by DISAPPOINTED Xmas party food terrible and that was half of food than last year ..dissappointed.. not worth £27 per head..Birmingham Resturants must cheaper and good amount of food than Holiday inn. Sauna and hot tub not working, swimming pool abit cold and empty shower gel in bathroom and good job ive brought my own. I have won the free room including free breakfast by my employer on the day of work xmas do. The next day in the morning this the young staff have told me that I have to pay breakfast but I told her I get a free breakfast and all paid for. As I sat down and start to eat breakfast this middle age female staff came straight over to me and rudely told me that I have to pay for the breakfast cos its not on systems...front of guests.. I was so embarrassed.. and my other work colleuges .. they handed bills on their table before they start eating.. we was so shocked at her Attitude. Now my employer said that they will refund breakfast fees. £13.95 each what they owe us. Overall 2/10. 10. Dezember 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Walsall's best kept secret ! Very good value for money, pleasant staff, very helpful, and always greeted whenever I passed by the Reception. A small gesture, but one which created a feeling of relaxed professionalism and helped to make me feel I was welcomed. Only gripe was the lack of availability of the swimming pool and jacuzzi on Sunday morning. Despite the Hotel's close proximity to the busy M6 and the East facing aspect of the window, the room was suitably dark and quiet for sleep. Very effective sound and light screening. A small point for possible improvement ( I am being very picky here !) would be to make an ice bucket available to guests at book in, instead of in the room, as the ice machine is in reception, and the room was quite a walk away. The bucket could be collected and filled without the need for two trips. The hotel was well designed and pleasant to stay in, with no ambient noise from other guests moving around the corridors or in the adjoining rooms. 8. Dezember 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Home From Home Used to basically live in this hotel but changed job and returned on business after a 18 months absence. They get 5* as the staff are friendlier than ever and they finally got the heating fixed! Really relaxing atmosphere with nice rooms and a lot quieter than other hotels around J10 1. Dezember 2014
