Having spent a year at the Holiday Inn Express close by, the client I am working for changed our Hotel to this Holiday Inn. The difference is incredible. This feels like a true hotel, especially when in one of the executive rooms that has a lounge as well as a bedroom. THe food is of a much higher quality and the staff very helpful.

Yet again another great stay, staff always very accomodating, Rachael the staff member for the bar was very attentive and made the stay more relaxing.

I am a frequent user of the hotel and always treated with a professional welcome upon arrival, staff identify me as a priority club member. The staff are fantasic and always welcoming. John the Night manager has been most helpful on numerous stays, long may it continue.

Stayed for one night with 10 year old daughter, as she had to attend a talent camp that weekend.
Bed was comfortable, and we did not have any trouble with noise from other guests. Air conditioning did not appear to be working though we were provided with a portable heater, so it did not matter. Spa bath was not working in swimming pool, which was a shame as daughter was really looking forward to using it, as she had used it on a previous visit, but assume it was just a temporary thing.
Breakfast was extremely good value - buffet at weekend £6.95, plus children under 12 eat free. Would stay again as very convenient for the M6, but is still quiet.
Not keen on soap and shampoo provided, bring your own!

We have been using hotel for some sales training for a couple of weeks and the customer service has been exceptional. The representative, Stuart has catered for all our requests and more. He really has gone the extra mile. We have also had very friendly service from the restaurant staff and the food is better than the average hotel chain. We are a large group of 18 delegates and they have made us very welcome with their personal service. Regarding the hotel itself, it is very much the same as most large hotel chains but the people make it worthy of a recommendation.
