Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay This hotel is very near the airport though I never heard a plane from my upper floor room! The staff was very good and the service of the shuttle from the airport and to the Metro stops was excellent. The food at the Diner for breakfast was very good and again the service there was prompt, polite and we felt at home. The only thing that needed improvement was the airconditioning unit. It was noisy and ran all the time in order to keep the room at 70 degrees. it was cool and rainy outside, so I am not sure why this happened. We did try and use the heat one evening and the unit smelled bad - like it was dusty and dirty. We turned it off again. The executive room was spacious. The couch and lounge chair were comfortable and I was able to entertain friends there and everybody was comfortable. Also the elevators were fast - which isn't always the case these days! 21 October 2013

Of particular note are the multi-lingual concierge personnel, who where always willing to assist with information and transportation. The shuttle service from/to airport and other nearby venues was prompt and courteous except for one driver, who seemed unhappy with either his work or the people he transported. 21 October 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stay would of been perfect if... Location is fine near DCA Reagan Airport. Restaurant staff were great, courteous and polite except for one. I did feel a little stunned when the one waitress told me why you going to order this meal if you don't want most of it. I had ordered a meal, but had asked please no eggs and toast. I told her I do not like to waste food as I cannot finish the entire meal. Also that the specific meal size I wanted was not offered. I am Canadian and found it rude to snap at me for requesting no to eggs and toast. The elevators are key card required and found it annoying. Beverage machines are no available on every floor. Pool closed as it's an outdoor area. The shuttle driver on my departure was rude and had road rage. He yelled at me at the hotel and was mad driving as well. Driver had parked on road to let passengers out and so the other bus driver pulled around him and stopped to let passenger off and was flipping out on the other driver. I would stay here again just because there were more friendlier staff. If i cross paths again with these two and have the same experience; it will be my last visit. 18 October 2013

The shuttle drivers were very helpful providing information on the area and showing up quickly when called to be picked up at the metro. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for For just $10-$20 more a night, I'd rather stay at one of the other hotels that are close that include better in hotel food options. Although convenient and cheapest prices, all I have to say is that you get what you pay for...which is bare minimum. Microwaves and mini friges are extra. The staff is not very friendly and it was difficult communicating directions/where to get public transportation from them. If I wasn't traveling for work, I would have switched hotels. 09 October 2013

But the staff was fantastic with the shuttle drivers going out of their way to get me to the right spot at the Pentagon, you guys were awesome. Room was very nice, great value considering the location. This is my DC hotel, lots of great places to eat around the hotel. 07 October 2013

They are awesome and made me feel as though I was their only guest. I never once walked through the lobby without being addressed by name and greeted with smiles. Unfortunately I was not able to make a reservation before I arrived but when I got to this branch of Holiday Inn very late at night the staff were able to book me a room. Special thanks to the manager on duty and front desk staff (Sharif). Breakfast was really comfy and reasonably priced. Internet was great too (not slow). Location is good since you have a 24-hr CVS close by. Only problem I had was with the price (a bit too high). 29 September 2013

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and excellent cable channel selection. The menu selection in both the pub and the restaurant offered a variety of food and alcohol choices. The Hotel’s location is just minutes away from DC, which made traveling to DC and around the area very easy for my husband and me. Thank you for making our DC vacation very relaxing and memorable. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. My wife and I were with a group and we received the same comments as ours when we asked others in our group about their experience with the hotel and staff. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great airport hotel! My husband and I were looking for an affordable Park & Fly hotel near the Ronald Reagan airport in Washington, D.C. Everything about our experience was positive. The hotel was easy to get to and easy to find. The rate (considering the park & fly option and the length of time we were gone) was far and away the least expensive option for all the airport hotels. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable - important before an early morning flight. The airport shuttle ran every 15 minutes like clockwork (both on our departure and arrival), the van was very comfortable and both drivers courteous and friendly. The drive to the airport was only 5 minutes. If we fly out of this airport again - we would absolutely stay here. 15 September 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service and location I stayed in your location for 3 nights and 4 days, with my mother whom birthday was on the very first day that we arrived. I have to say that the customer service lady called Grazie was outstanding, she definitely knows how to take care of Guests. My mother had a platter of fruit and cheese along with a card waiting in the room, which at the last minute we changed. We used the 'free shuttle to the Metro Station, two days in a row, both days, the drivers were very courteous and helpful. Your location could have not been any better, shopping and restaurants were all around the area! thanks for the Great experience, I will come back and tell friends and family about you guys. 11 September 2013

However, the room left me much to be desired with some basic amenities not available in the room. They should look at renovating the property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience Will recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Washington DC and environs. Within reasonable distance of Dulles. Rooms spacious enough for a couple, generally friendly staff and atmosphere. Best of all and placing this hotel well above most in the DC area, free Wi-Fi. With all the will in the world, It is usually not possible for foreign visitors to access mobile phone services. Free Wi-Fi solve some of this problem without having to expend valuable funds. Generally, great hotel. Will use again anytime I am in the DC area. 04 September 2013

I needed some paperwork copied for my meetings in the hotel and the front desk delivered the copied documents to me on time. They were also very helpful during check-out time when I had to store my luggage to run some errands in town prior to leaving the hotel. 03 September 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor housekeeping The comforter had blood stains. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. You could see hair on the floor. No conditioner ever. The door mirrow was dirty and was never wiped. There was a beer bottle top on the carpet. After two days I threw it away. It looked like the vacuum never touched the carpet. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. 31 August 2013

With the exception of the burnt calamari I was served by the restaurant in the hotel and staying in a room without a view of anything but a brick wall and roof landing. I had a good experience at this hotel. I appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport. The shuttle was also very useful in driving you within a 1 mile radius around the hotel to get dropped of at the local train station or just dining at the nearby restaurant. The room was clean and modern looking. The staff was friendly as well. I would probably stay here again as long as I choose a different room and skip the calamari. 28 August 2013

But when I'm told I'm being upgraded and then not actually getting upgraded then........Told I was upgraded to the "priority club" floor with card access only. Turns out all floors are card access and postage stamp size rooms. Now thats just a bad play. This is an older hotel, nothing stands out as good or bad. The food was weak, but then again who orders a pork chop at a hotel restaurant. So all in all just average at best. 25 August 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The staff tries but the facility has too many problems One of the elevators didn't work and with only 2 left and some 14 floors it made it for long wait time and sharing the elevator w cleaning and luggage carts. It was common to wait 10 to 15 mins for a lift. When you finally get one it was packed and you couldn't get in. The fire alarm going off in the middle of the night made the experience even worse. The only reason I am giving a fair is because the daytime staff as well as the drivers are really nice and friendly. Otherwise this would have been a zero. The swimming pool is closed in the middle of August. As a gold member I asked for water was sent across to a restaurant. When I headed to a vending machine a bottle appeared. The night time crew is very unprofessional. Stay away if you have an alternative. 21 August 2013
