Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place to Stay The location of the hotel is great, right near the Metro. Several places near by in walking distance. The water pressure in the shower was ok and the air-conditioning was not very cool. The bed was super comfortable got a great nights sleep. June 29, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and Run Down Hotel - Not worth the price My family and I came to Washington for a family trip. When we arrived at the Holiday Inn I was extremely disappointed, to the point where we changed or reservation and left early. The hotel was dirty, run down and in desperate need of updating. The "suite" that we stayed in was not worth the price the hotel charged. The sleeper mattress was old and worn. The bathroom was filthy and has not been updated in over 20 years. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible service for the price At first glance hotel was nice. Once in the room it appeared clean but smelled like sweat. A/C barely worked in bedroom. The hotel staff was horrible, waited long to check out. Staff wasn't helpful in anyway. There was a false alarm for a fire that started around 2 am and lasted almost 40 minutes. I was not impressed with the hotel for the price. I plan on being in DC at least 2 more times this year and I will not be back to this hotel. I love holiday inn usually but was super disappointed. I have never had a situation like this before and as an elite customer I utilize hotels a lot. June 24, 2015
