Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel, but could be better The hotel location is exceptional, it is just few minutes from Rosslyn metro station and the Key Bridge, and it is one of the few hotels in DC area that offers great views from the room balcony. Room condition is generally good, but bathrooms need some maintenance and maybe renovation. April 30, 2015

We were having problems with our TV reception and they never hesitated to get the issue resolved, even replaced the TV. The front desk staff, especially Brandon, was so helpful with directions to DC attractions, riding the metro system, anything they could do to be sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel is located close to the metro system, and because the hotel offers free parking, we didn't have to drive anywhere once we arrived..... a big plus in DC! Our only disappoint was the quality of the food in the restaurant located on the 17th floor. The views from the restaurant were amazing, but the food was bland and mostly over-cooked. We would probably have eaten there every night if we had a better experience with our meals. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and hope to stay there again ourselves. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, needs a good cleaning... Wonderful location to the Metro...quick in and out. Great pool...nice size and clean. Average breakfast...missed the waffle machine most other Holiday Inns have, but kids ate free and 9.99 for adults buffet The room...our room, 522, had a musty odor and when we checked in an old q-tip under the sink. Notified the front desk before we went out...when we returned from our night out still there and agreed to send someone up "first thing" in the morning. Went sightseeing for the day...towels changed and q-tip remains. Told front desk again...went to the pool...came back...q-tip still there...the walls need a good cleaning along with the back of the entrance door and the back of the bathroom door. Splatters all over them. Spoke with manager at check out...very nice and apologetic, refunded us the cleaning fee...but still didn't make up for the lack of cleanliness. April 24, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Experience I stayed at this property four years ago and had a great experience. Not so this time. On arrival the TV was not working. It took two calls to the desk and almost three hours before an engineer showed up. The front desk blamed being short staffed. The lounge in the restaurant was not well staffed and was infested with gnats. They were very visible on the windows and mirrors, and were constantly buzzing around our heads. The restaurant had a great view and the dinners were excellent. The breakfast was OK. Compared to similar competitor properties of this class I would recommend this hotel for dinners and location close to a Metro station. I will not recommend based on service. I'm not sure I would stay here again. April 23, 2015
