Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not the greatest experience Arrived late to check in on a Thursday, but we called to inform them we would be in after 10pm. We were told our reservation would be marked as late arriving. When we got there at 10:30pm, our room had been giving away. They worked long to get us 2 rooms next to each other to hold all 4 of us in our family. 2 kids and 2 adults. We ended up having to split up into different rooms. The rooms had small beds and the tv unit in one room would only work if you played with the cable connection. The rooms stated non-smoking rooms but sure smelled like someone had been smoking in them. The parking was chaotic as it was only done by Valet, but there was only one valet person working and about 10 cars lined up in driveway to get checked in. Seemed like a lot of people were checking in late and many had similar problems as we did. There were no luggage carriers available and when asking the valet he said he had no clue where to get them and that he was overworked and could not help us. Pretty disappointed in our 2 nights there and probably will not come back to that hotel in the future. There was a Microsoft party going on that weekend so maybe that added to the rush of people staying near centennial park, but you would have thought the hotel would be prepared for this. 03 August 2014

Try and stay away from the street side because the lights from the ferris wheel across the street lit up my window all night. Casey, who works at the front desk is great !!! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay ever in a hotel I was there from Thursday until Monday my room was never cleaned. I had to ask for hand soap, toliet paper and towels. Phone in the room didn't work someone came and looked at it and told they would come back and fix it, no one ever came. I had to carry the microwave to another location in the room in order to use it cause there was no outlet. The curtain was falling down and there was dust on the lamp shades and headboard. The stench of garbage when you walked out the front door was horrible!! Worst stay in a hotel ever!! 30 July 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mislead on extras We booked this hotel based on the Aquarium package. The understanding that we had was upon our arrival we would receive tickets for the aquarium. We specifically booked the aquarium package for the convenience and value. This was not the case. The package we received was for early booking discounts. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. We were treated like second class citizens and pretty much brushed off. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one was not available. How Convenient. The web site said there was complimentary breakfast. This was a false statement. Again the staff was not helpful. The only highlight was the hostess and waiter in the restaurant. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I would never recommend this hotel. It put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun and memorable family weekend. 29 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and location; maintenance needs to improve Stayed there for six nights on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Transferred out of my first room, which had an A/C unit that sounded like a cement mixer and bathroom faucet that was not secured to the counter top. My next room was better, but peeling wallpaper was evident. This hotel is in a great location, but the deferred maintenance is showing on the old girl. Although in need of repairs, the facility was clean. 21 July 2014

When leaving the car was brought to us and no one even offered to help load it, I had recently had knee surgery and could not help, we had a huge cart full of bags that we loaded ourselves. No one even offered so I kept my tip! Your dining staff is just wonderful as well as front desk. 21 July 2014

The room was clean, roomy and the air conditioning worked well. I loved the view of the Atlanta Ferris Wheel from my room. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid this hotel - stay else where Day 1 - AC went out in the middle of the night Arrived to the room which had not been vacuumed. Day 2 - Replaced AC unit early AM - Left a trail of dirt including toothpicks, candy wrappers and various items hidden in the AC unit. No vacuum upon arriving back to my room. Day 3 - Had to request a vacuum.. Not sure why? Upon coming back to my room, half the power in my room was off. No desk lamp to work at, or charge my laptop. Bathroom is disgusting! Black, red mildew everywhere. Internet very spotty. Works great when connected. Room's telephone nonfunctioning, and hallway phone not connected to the wall. Had to go downstairs to complain. Chairs in the room stained. VERY DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY room. 16 July 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional Guest Service We flew in to Atlanta on the red eye from Denver for the 4th of July, so that put us there at 5am and of course regular check in time is 3 pm. We telephoned the hotel the day before and they were very accommodating and allowed us to check in at 10 am. That gave us time to rest and do some exploration of downtown Atlanta before we enjoyed the spectacular 4th festivities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay downtown close to Olympic park. Also a great value for the location. 15 July 2014

When I checked in, they accommodated a request to change my room type to 2 doubles instead of 1 queen.
