Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 11Anna Due to construction ... Sadly, off my list for awhile ... even though of location
Appreciate friendly Check In Service & acknowledgement as an IHG Member.
Nice Coffee Bar w/Fridge in rooms ... though a water bottle waiting in fridge would be a genuine show of hospitality at this location, without the exchange/option of IHG points.
Ample Bath Toiletries though *face towelettes, *shower caps *mouth wash would be a huge welcomed +... comfortable bed, club chair... though rooms could stand a welcoming fresh smell upon entering.
Total Loss of indoor/outdoor pool ... & dining area at present
Office Center helpful & nicely equipped
Best Hotel Sports Bar, Good Service & Food

Had great experience when I stayed in Holiday Inn Resort Acadia and Holiday Inn Express Singapore, that's why I booked this hotel during my 2nd visit to Austin.
My stay was not "nightmare" bad, but my "journey" started with my check-in.
Check-in: It was midnight when I arrived the hotel due to the flight delay, I was told that the system considered me "no show" because I was so late, so when I showed up eventually, it took front desk guy 10mins to correct the system and checked me in. Imagine the feeling that when you were exhausted, you could do nothing but wait.
Rooms: Room is big, and king size mattress and beddings were good and comfortable. But I felt that carpet was dirty, and I could see lights outside through the thin curtain.
Water supply was cut off once when I was about to brush my teeth after meals. So imagine what my colleagues could smell from my breath that day.
Gym: Not really a gym. One guest room was used as gym, but the lighting was still as dark as hotel rooms, felt like a haunted house. No drinking water provided in gym. And, you can even lock the gym door from inside because it is a guest room!
Value: I can't say that rates were high, but hotel didn't provide complimentary breakfast because of the "low rates". Comparing with its competitor hotel where I stayed last time, this Holiday Inn was not worthy that rates I paid.
Wi-Fi: Complimentary, good. But I didn't know why I have to connect manually each time my device connected. Tried both laptop and mobile, same poor connection.
Only good thing was that the staffs were kind and friendly. And the check-out was really fast.
I will visit Austin really frequently, but this hotel is definitely off my list.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Crusoe Poor experience
Generally, front desk guys were nice. What I disliked:
1. Carpet of hotel room is dirty.
2. Wi-Fi connection unstable, had to re-connect frequently for both mobile and laptop.
3. Didn't find a swimming pool (correct me if I'm wrong), gym is located in a hotel room, dark lights, no water, really uncomfortable.
4. Experienced interruption of water supply, and construction smell because of renovation.
