Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Added Touch I look forward to checking and seeing the cheerful staff at the front desk like Trystan, Zach, Melinda, Stephanie or Amy, they are always welcoming and make me feel at home. This last stay was no different, when I arrived I was greeted by the same consist cheerful front desk team as always; however when I got to my room I was surprised to see the towels in the shape of an elephant on the couch, it reminded me of staying at a resort in the Bahamas or somewhere like that. I thought it was a great touch, kudos to the person that came up with that idea! Again I want to thank the great staff for always making me feel welcome when I come into town as I always stay at this property. They really make me feel at home from the front desk staff to Mary at the bar, Junior in Facilities / Engineering and the friendly Housekeeping staff. Thank You! 05 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay in Bakersfield Our room (an executive king) was clean and comfortable, and the pool was great for me and my kids. The staff were attentive and friendly. My only issue was with breakfast in the restaurant. We paid $10 extra for "breakfast for two," but what we actually got was a $20 voucher toward our bill. Even though our kids got to eat for free, we still ended up paying 10 bucks or so for our breakfast, which wouldn't have been so bad if the food were good. Alas, it was not so great. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay, but skip the breakfast and enjoy one of the many other restaurants in the area. 27 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel... i stay here 2 different times during a 14 day business travel in california. my 1st room was ok. the bed was to firm for my likely. everything else was fine. The 2nd room was awesome. the bed was prefect....not to firm and not to soft. alot bigger! the dry cleaning service was very good and price was not a killer... thanks 21 November 2014
