Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, but poor check-in experience The check-in staff couldn't find my booking as they didn't put in my full name. Rather than trying to help, when I insisted she checks again, she gave me a dirty look. She didn't even bother to offer to give me a room even though there was room available until I asked. Then she told me that it is more expensive, etc. I asked for a corporate rate, but she wanted me to show her my booking reference instead, and I had then to open and log in my laptop at the check-in counter. I didn't feel welcomed and didn't feel that I am in an international hotel. 11 July 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unbeatable Location Excellent location, very well-situated along the city's main shopping belt and less than a minute's walk to the BTS station. The staff at the front office are very efficient and swift. The room is well-maintained and clean, with all necessary bathroom amenities provided. However, the breakfast spread at Cafe G is mediocre and there is definitely room for improvement in the service level of the waiting staff at the cafe. Overall, this is one of the best hotels to stay in Bangkok. 03 July 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay Everything was very nice and worked out fine. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite with Privileges to the Intercontinental accross the parking lot. Things went well until one night a lady said I could not use the lounge any more. I went and talked to the staff at the Holiday Inn and they said sorry for the misunderstanding and they took care of it, she did not give me any more problems after that. The rooms are very comfortable, nice living room, bed room with a TV in each. The bathroom was very nice, shower was excellent but did not have a bathtub which I rarely use. Really nice place to stay and very convenient for the sky train (Chit Lom) as it was right out the front door and maybe a 50 meter walk. 01 July 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for work and leisure Comfortable rooms, very well located from BTS, Erawan shrine and shopping. The gym is good so you get your morning exercise. With superb internet connectivity in the room and good desk lighting, the place is excellent for work and leisure. Decor is pleasant, not over the top. I was able to get work done and relax. Staff are friendy and will go the extra mile to assist with directions and taxis. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Recommended for singletons and families. 26 June 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location The hotel is in a fantastic location for shopping MBK and platinum Malls are within walking distance and the high street malls are even closer. Staff are very friendly and the beds are comfortable they give you a choice of firm pillows and/or soft pillows. I didn't get the time to use the facilities as I was only there for 2 nights and my main reason to stay in bangkok was for shopping but I did have a look at the pool and gym etc both looked good. 24 June 2013

Very convenient to Bangkok central shopping district- there's an elevated walkway fronting the hotel to all the nearby shopping malls. Room was clean, stylish and spacious. Breakfast selection was sufficiently extensive, though menu didn't change at all throughout our three days. Highly recommended.. 10 June 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Our Stay 20-23 May 2013 I am a regular guest of Holiday Inn. This is the 2nd time within the period of 6 months whereby we get rooms that are double-booked. In early 2013, my colleague's room was open by the bell boy bringing along a guest. Fortunately, there's someone in the room and we realise this incident. On 20 May, upon check in at 5PM, one of my colleague was given the key to a room which has a guest in it. Repeat of this same incident caused a lot of concern on our security as well as our belongings in the room. All the staff is able to do is say sorry. Secondly, being a member of the Priority Club is not a privilege. On average I use Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and InterContinental at least 25 nights a year. With Holiday Inn, I must send several reminders before my points are transferred to the airline miles. This reminders has to be done repeatedly or the points will just disappear. 28 May 2013

This hotel provides accommodation which verges on 5* at 4* prices, has an excellent, city-centre location, strategically located on the Skytrain, and is always friendly and welcoming in my experience. 28 May 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lacks human touch I was staying at the hotel I had twisted my knee on May 8 whilst climbing down from a Sky walk. I returned to the hotel and asked for the First Aid Box. It was not made available to me and I was told that it did not contain any bandage or spray to relieve pain. I asked for the Duty Manager and asked her to send someone across the road to a chemist (as I could not walk) and get me an appointment. She said that she did not have any manpower. I could see the chemist shop just across the road and was distressed by her reaction. When I insisted for help she got two very small jars of some ointment (without any name) to my room and a crepe bandage which she herself tied around my knee. Hotels are supposed to be hospitable ( a home away from home) but this proved I was wrong. 15 May 2013

The TV channels offer at least 5 to 6 different language as options. Bed is very comfortable. If I will visit Bangkok again, this hotel will be my choose! 06 May 2013

The staff working at this hotel are amazing, especially the bellboys/hops who were super friendly and so helpful. The chambermaids were great too, so friendly. Therefore we ordered to arrange hotel car for safety reason, but your staffs arranged a taxi that was too expensive tarrif comparing with city taxi on road.
