The staff are very friendly at all levels and try their best to make you feel like a valued guest. The Executive Lounge is terrific and the staff therein very professional and helpful. Rooms are modern and well equipped and the hotel takes time to make sure guests are aware off anything happening in Bangkok such as political demonstrations. I will be back again. 03 April 2014

Being from South Asia I was fascinated to find some breakfast items of Indian test which I could not find this time (March, 25-28). But i have found the service and attentiveness of your staffs excellently maintained. All facilities and services are of the best in this class of hotels comparing with several other hotels where I have stayed. 02 April 2014

Requested to change another room, then the staff could not give me the same room type........then after last, unhappy to keep staying and waiting for fixing.........however, in the morning, I saw tthe water was full on the ground.......what it is.......... 01 April 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by changing I have been staying at H Inn Silom for about 8yrs. In recent months I have noticed small changes for the worse and less happiness in the staff. I don't understand - has the hotel management changed or has something else happened. There also appear to be less staff. Because I am well known to the staff I can still count on maximum service but I am not sure if this applies to new or infrequent guests. Overall it can't be good for the hotel's business in the long term. I do hold a platinum club card. 31 March 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Breakfast for Indian Vegetarians I would like to share my recent stay experience at Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom. I have stayed here earlier as well due to Indian breakfast option and it is clearly evident that a lot of Indians also prefer to stay here. However, this time I was a little upset about the breakfast options. Being a strict vegetarian, the hotel did not have any breads which were eggless. Moreover, all the staff personnel said different things about which bread is eggless and which contains egg. At the end is was so confusing that I and my family could not enjoy a regular bread butter jam for breakfast. On the other hand, the Indian dishes for breakfast were usually only 1 dish per day. On the 1st day the Upma tasted very bad. On the 2nd day the Poha was ok but could have been better. On the 3rd day, Aloo Bonda was fantastic and that was the only saving grace for the breakfast. I would also like to point out that the Masala Tea, the fresh juices and fruits were absolutely great. However, it is important to have good tasting dishes for breakfast as well. The same issue was with in-room dining as well. None of the pizzas and pastas were with NO egg. They all contained egg powder. However, I would like to add that the Thai Curry and Veg Spring Rolls were great but we got tired of eating the same everyday for 3 days. Tandoor was also great. Lastly, with so many Indians staying at the hotel, I think the Hotel management should sincerely consider to add breads with no eggs to your breakfast menu and have atleast 3 indian dishes as breakfast option on a daily basis. We stayed in a club room, and the club lounge was nice and big, snacks and drinks selection nice. Location is fine in that Silom is a lively, bustling road, but the walk from the skytrain may be too much for some; but taxis are always passing by and very reasonably priced. 23 March 2014

The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. I have had no complaints or issues with any aspect of this hotel, and I've stayed here a dozen times over past four years. 22 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service, friendly & supportive staffs and comfortable and cosy room First time in Bangkok and was very nervous as I was alone for my business trip. The hotel staff was very helpful as they help to arrange a limosine to fetch from the airport. The room was bigger than most of the hotels here in KL. Food was great too although perhaps maybe they can do a separate Halal booth. Great hotel and very convenient and are close with the train station. You can take the train at the Silom line to go shopping and food hunting. Definately will come back again and bring my family. 14 March 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Our 2 Night Break in Bangkok We use the Holiday Inn when ever we stay in Bangkok. We tend to stay 8 to 10 weeks in Cha Am and then have a 2 night stop at BKK before flying home. This year we went to Vietnam before returning to the UK. Our 1st Holiday Inn stay was 13th - 15th Feb and the second was 27th Feb - 1st March our 1st stay was perfect and the hotel agreed to keep some luggage for us until our return. We had a stressful 2 flights into BKK from Da Nang via Hanoi arriving by taxi at Silom Road at 1900 hrs. We were amazed when told there was no room ready for us. ( we had paid in advance for our room from 1400 hrs.) We were offered dinner which we declined as we were hot tired and scruffy from traveling. Breakfast was offered as alternative at my suggestion although what we wanted was our room. We returned at 2100 from the nearby Pub to be told the room was nearly ready. This is unacceptable as you are quick to demand rooms back at 1200 hrs on departure. The room unfortunately was one of the old ones that is really past it's best. The bathroom is tired, excess mastic around basins etc and leaky old taps. The marble effect unit tops are cracked and the whole room needs a makeover. The room we had on our 1st stop 2 weeks earlier was marvellous. This room was in the same condition as when we 1st stayed 10 years ago. There was only one socket in the room that fitted my laptop charger and that meant unplugging the TV. So for the loss of 7 hours rental of our room we were given a buffet breakfast that we could have at a local diner for about 250 T Bht each. We shall return next year and would still recommend the hotel to friends if they wanted to stay in BKK but we expect a better service in the future and hope that this was a one off problem.. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Service Club floor service was very bad. Staff were very un-attentive, condescending, unprofessional, and not trained. I arrived late at night and the Club floor staff did not know how to check in. She had to call for help from downstairs. In the morning, the 2 female Club floor staff were not service minded and did not even offer to help set the table for breakfast. I had to walk to their desk to get attention and one of them sounded very condescending in her tone. Food was also stale. There were more than 5 ladies sitting on ground floor lobby, quite openly soliciting for business. Great hotel choice for single men who want quick special service. 08 March 2014
