This is my hotel of choice in Baton Rouge. Staff is great, room is great and should be a model for all other Holiday Inns.

This hotel was in very good shape. IHG has upgraded with remodels on several properties. I would rate the bed as excellent - 5 star bed comfort.

Not a pleasant check in. However, we ususally enjoy a nice stay at this hotel. Like the pool and breakfast. Quick and easy.

I love this hotel. The desk agents upon check in and check out were very efficient and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and I love the beds, very comfortable. The restaurant staff was also very efficient and attentive to my needs and the food was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

I arrived at the Holiday Inn a little early at 1:30PM and tried to check in (even though check in time is 4PM), I was immediately told that no rooms were available because check-out was at 11AM. I was shocked. The front desk girl did not even look to see if any rooms were available and I am a Platinum member with Holiday Inn. I immediately changed my reservation to one night as opposed to two nights. I also did not receive any recognition for being a Platinum Member of IHG.
Upon check out, I discover that there is a surcharge of $4.95 on my bill. When I asked the front desk about the fee, I was told it was to keep up the property and the fitness center - isn't that what the rate for the room is. I had to complain about this, but they take it off my bill.
I will not be staying at this Holiday Inn again.

We were supposed to have stayed along with friends at a neighboring hotel, but it was full and the Holiday Inn was a convenient second choice. We visited with our friends during the conference, and compared to their accommodations, we got a better bargain for a nicer room with more amenities, and even got a breakfast included in our package. We'll certainly return to this hotel when we're in Baton Rouge.
