Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disorganised !!! My father booked 3 double rooms with meal package so we could attend his brothers funeral. We were not made aware at check in that we had £18 maximum spend and therefore had to pay more. I was very disappointed that as a guest I had to pay £7.95 for WIFI ??? This was a very emotional Day, made even more stressful due to the lack of information given beforehand. 22 February 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! We booked an executive room for 2 nights as our daughter was getting married. We stayed in it the first night, my daughter came to the hotel the following morning to get dressed for her wedding, then she and her new husband stayed in the room for the 2nd night. Whilst we stayed at their home to babysit! We explained all this to the young lady when we checked in and she very kindly arranged for a bottle of champagne to be in the room when the newlyweds arrived after the reception. What a lovely gesture. We actually stayed at the hotel at Christmas too as we were visiting family for a couple of days. However, this latest stay was far better. Different room and more attentive staff in the dining room. We will Definitely use this hotel every time the need arises. Thank you. 04 February 2014

Attended a conference managed by the very efficient Lilly in the Academy. An all round great experience for me staying here. The staff culture is amongst the best that I've come across. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice but plenty of room to be better Stay here loads and also check out at 7:30 on a Sunday morning too, but this particular stay, the breakfast I ordered on the door tag that is for room service suddenly I'm told there's no hot breakfast till 7:30 which has not happened before...either it's available or it's not and if not take it off the bloody door tag as an extra option for £2, or tell the cook on Sunday to be in for 6 and not 7!!!!!!! 15 January 2014

The room was nice and clean, we had room service they where very quick and the meal was nice and hot. The breakfast was good, clean dining area and very helpful staff, would visit again. 13 January 2014
