Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What shuttle? arrived at station to await shuttle service of which we told the day before that we did not need to ring in advance. It was not clear where to wait, no signs or staff with any info. Freezing temp and late. After 40 mins we rang to be told the service was not running and a taxi would be sent. Which after 10 more mins arrived. Check in was fine but no apology just an explanation of a broken down bus. We went to our room which was very nice. We had a room with an adjoining door. Omg! The amount of noise we could hear was uncomfortable, we could hear our neighbours conversations, nose blowing and even going to the loo! We had an early flight so wanted a good sleep we both woke shattered. We left very unhappy yet again in a taxi as the bus driver had rang sick? 28 January 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid DBB rate Good first impressions of the hotel , Reception staff friendly and room very clean . spacious and comfortable . However as pleased as I was up until this point it was nothing compared to my disappointment at the restaurant experience. On arrival I pointed out to the greeter ( I believe this was the manager ) that we had booked a rate including a three course dinner and asked if there were any restrictions . He then told me that if I wanted to eat off the menu I could only have a £15 per person allowance , I pointed out to him there was no three course meal available on the menu for less than £25 and he said DBB rate only applied to the buffet or £15 off the menu, At this point I said I would return to my room to fetch a copy of my booking to prove what I said about being entitled to a three course meal from the menu as I was now finding the experience extremely humiliating as I was with my wife and other customers were watching. At this point he relented and allowed us to order what we wished but the damage had already been done . Also breakfast did not start until 6.30 which I found strange for an airport hotel and therefore we could note take advantage , again something I felt could have been pointed out at the booking stage. 27 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Stay I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, me and my partner stayed here to go to arenacross at LG arena. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is very clean and rooms are lovely. I like that there is a free shuttle bus to the train station as it means that we didn't have to pay for a taxi!! Breakfast in the morning was lovely and food was all hot. The free use of the pool, gym and wifi is just a bonus. Like I said before I would definitely recommend this hotel!! 27 January 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Usually a good hotel but let down on this occasion. We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and it is usually a great stay. This time We stayed in the Richard E Byrd suite which was great value for the price. However neither TV worked when we got into the suite. Maintenance did come and fix them but the next morning neither of them was working again. We ordered room service but they didn't have any of the pasta dish that we wanted left. The burger was great and a good big portion size but the fish was greasy and the mushy peas were stone cold. They did bring replacement, hot mushy peas when I phoned room service to complain. Items were also missing from our breakfast order which were delivered after we phoned room service to complain. They were very apologetic that there were no bananas left. I used the swimming pool and steam room which was nice and quiet and a decent size but none of the lockers in the ladies changing room locked so there was nowhere secure to leave your room key (which you need to get into the changing rooms). Also you need to take a towel from your room as there are none in the changing rooms. I reported the locker situation to reception who seemed unaware of it. 22 January 2015
