I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, me and my partner stayed here to go to arenacross at LG arena. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is very clean and rooms are lovely. I like that there is a free shuttle bus to the train station as it means that we didn't have to pay for a taxi!! Breakfast in the morning was lovely and food was all hot. The free use of the pool, gym and wifi is just a bonus. Like I said before I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Annatron Usually a good hotel but let down on this occasion.
We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and it is usually a great stay. This time We stayed in the Richard E Byrd suite which was great value for the price. However neither TV worked when we got into the suite. Maintenance did come and fix them but the next morning neither of them was working again.
We ordered room service but they didn't have any of the pasta dish that we wanted left. The burger was great and a good big portion size but the fish was greasy and the mushy peas were stone cold. They did bring replacement, hot mushy peas when I phoned room service to complain. Items were also missing from our breakfast order which were delivered after we phoned room service to complain. They were very apologetic that there were no bananas left.
I used the swimming pool and steam room which was nice and quiet and a decent size but none of the lockers in the ladies changing room locked so there was nowhere secure to leave your room key (which you need to get into the changing rooms). Also you need to take a towel from your room as there are none in the changing rooms. I reported the locker situation to reception who seemed unaware of it.

Check in efficient. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast good. Service at bar slow. Seems to take an age to use the tills. Car park exit barrier needs to be raised when significant numbers leave in a short time.

Over priced and certainly not worth the money paid.
Certainly won't recommend or be staying at Holiday Inn in the future.

This Holiday Inn must be the best I have stayed in and this was due to its attentive & helpful staff. In particular the beautiful lady on reception (Foiza ?) who seemed to move mountains to help us check in early after a mix up in flight times.
Please give this lady a promotion as this is the benchmark for customer service.
