Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than it used to be From the outside ( Chinatown) the ambience isn't the best with a filthy HI flag on the patio area, however once inside the staff were very attentive and helpful and the room was comfortable. Its not difficult to provide people with a level of service that is acceptable and this hotel does that. I will be back and will try out the food to see if that's as good as the overall experience Thank you HI Birmingham 23 March 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay at a great hotel I have stayed in several hotels throughout Birmingham and have to say that the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre by far outperforms them all in terms of quality customer service, reasonably priced double rooms and fantastic housekeeping who are very prompt at responding to any needs that may arise. My room was spacious, clean and quiet and the hotel itself is ideally located a few moments from New Street Station and the city centre. I will definitely be coming back to the Holiday Inn when I am next back in Birmingham! 19 March 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great position near Train station Overall stay was a positive one. Had some problems during the night as outside the hotel it was so noisy in the early hours of the morning as there are shops nearby and couldn't have a good night sleep, but all was well as planned. I have already used this hotel before, and didnt search for any others, just booked at Holiday Inn again. 13 March 2015

My room was pleasant and clean in all departments with excellent facilities. The T.V. etc all worked well and had no problem with heating controls 11 March 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tired all round If you fancy sleeping on the central reservation of the M6 then this hotel could be for you. If however you value your sleep then don't bother. This tired run down hotel is exactly how you will feel after a night " tired & run down" breakfast was a bit iffy but the evening meal was good. You can't blame the staff for the state of this hotel they do their best, but this is definitely one to avoid along with Biingham really 09 March 2015
