Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room internet connection The speed is quite slow. It seems that when there are a number of guests internetting (!), the speed goes way down. I did not try anywhere other than the room connection, but I have recently seen advertisements from another chain [don't remember which one] that they have increased speed and bandwidth to better their customers. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room Charges The toilet overflowed on the first day! The staff person on duty handled the situation quickly and efficiently. She was Great! Feel that the breakfast buffet should be included in the stay. Every other Holiday Inn I have stayed in includes this in the room price. My main problem is with the final charges for my room. My credit card was charged twice for the total room rate. When I called the hotel about this, they said one charge would drop off, that this was just the authorization. My problem is I have never had a double charge at other hotels, including other Holiday Inns. This decreases my available credit and thanks to God, I wasn't planning on using this card for other purchases, or that this was not my debit card. This practice should be discontinued. A customer should only be charged once for their stay. June 8, 2015
