Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Terrible Manager and Horrible Experience
The manager, Larry, was rude and unwilling to assist me. I called several days before our stay there to inquire about putting rose petals and champagne in the room for the Bride and Groom. They said yes, no problem, they do it all of the time. When the delivery man got there, they told him they wouldn't do it. I called and spoke with Larry who was no help at all and was, frankly, rude. I went up to the room upon arriving to check on everything and there was a sticky note on the table that said, "Look in Fridge," which is where I found the champagne. The roses were plopped about the room and looked awful. I was very upset and Larry wasn't there to speak with me when he said he would be. Very upsetting.

We stayed in the "Executive Suite" We made use of the pull out bed. However there were no sheets or pillows in the closet. When we requested additional pillows and sheets from the front desk, we were brought some sheets however because the desk lady at approximately 11pm on the 21st was clocking out we needed to go get out pillows from the front desk ourselves. They were not brought to our room. When we pulled out the pull out bed there were sheets already on the bed old and crumpled up. There was even a used wash cloth bundle in with it all. Disgusting. I was embarrassed to have my guest who was with us having to use the sleeper. The wait staff and service at the holiday inn restaurant was horrific. I don't even want to spend the time typing about the issues with that restaurant. The food was decent but the service was horrible. We could have gone to any restaurant but unfortunately we at in hotel. The wait staff I'm speaking of are those who were on duty the morning of the 22nd and 23rd. When we left the hotel, my guest thought she had forgotten her boots in the room. I called and left a message with the housekeeping to see if anything was found. This was Saturday the 23rd. Today is Wed the 27th. I have yet to receive a phone call back even if its to say we haven't found anything. That is common courtesy. That is professionalism. I have stayed in a lot of hotels. I am not being picky. I highly believe in giving credit when credit is due. It is very rare if ever I complain. This service is what I would expect in a backwoods hick town. This was Bolingbrook IL. Come ON!

Bed was comfortable, the bathroom wasn't as clean as we are use to we found a lemon or lime slice in the sink when we got to our room late at night we didn't want to deal with it at the desk so just took care of it our self.

The staff here is very nice. The rooms are clean and it's just like being at ho me. They even have a bar.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Lots of restaurants nearby.
Able to relax and enjoy the evening after a busy work day.

Everithing very quick, good food, and service the rooms and bedrooms a re clean with nice hot water for a good bad after working.
You will enjoy the price vbery affortable even so on the weekend rate does not vary at all.

As I entered the hotel, three people were drinking and yelling at each other at 4 pm. The lobby looks run down. The front desk person was very nice and welcomed me to their hotel. Check in was normal. Hallways had a smell to them and carpet needed to be replaced. The room itself was old. The carpet needed to be replaced as had stains and felt warn. The bed was sunken in the middle and was very old. The bathroom was old and has not been updated in years.
I stay at other brands but felt safe making a reservation at this hotel but I was wrong. This hotel did not meet my standards for a Holiday Inn.

Everything was great, the staff, the room, the amenities. I wasn't impressed with the eggs in the buffet. I'm also not a fan of the soap and shampoo, they smell terrible. I recommend bringing your own. I will next time.
