The hotel and staff were above average. I enjoyed the 2 days I spent in the hotel. I will return to this hotel on my next trip to the Chicago area.

The room was fine. The AC would not allow "constant fan." The fitness center consisted of 1 bike, 1 treadmill, and 1 elliptical - zero weights or cable system which is vital for my stays as I travel a lot and am an avid lifter. I don't need much - just standard hotel fitness center accommodations can be made to work, but this place had nothing of the sort. You are better off running to a park for pull-ups and dips.

Located in a rather distant and forgettable suburb of Chicago, this Holiday Inn was a pleasant surprise. We encountered nothing but satisfactory experiences. Staff is helpful and attentive and during an unusually humid and hot period, the room was comfortable. Better than I expected.

Hotel is in very good shape. Great pool/spa/sauna/and workout area. Nicely equipped bar for a late night cocktail. Nice relaxing environment after a day of business meetings.

I think this location needs to ,look at how to accommodate its guests with the adequate number of staff and space.i.e. more housekeepers, opening up space to accommodate lounge patrons on busy nights, and fulfilling their advertised shuttle services. the shuttling service was a key reason for our choosing this hotel; we could have stayed across and down the road for less money.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Terrible Manager and Horrible Experience
The manager, Larry, was rude and unwilling to assist me. I called several days before our stay there to inquire about putting rose petals and champagne in the room for the Bride and Groom. They said yes, no problem, they do it all of the time. When the delivery man got there, they told him they wouldn't do it. I called and spoke with Larry who was no help at all and was, frankly, rude. I went up to the room upon arriving to check on everything and there was a sticky note on the table that said, "Look in Fridge," which is where I found the champagne. The roses were plopped about the room and looked awful. I was very upset and Larry wasn't there to speak with me when he said he would be. Very upsetting.
