Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hot room and room service food left in the hallway all night long Very hot room bedroom the restaurant was not opened when I stayed and iz was told the 1000 bonus points were not being awarded anymore for eating in the restaurant when this was advertised on the IHG website. 30 March 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable BUT We stay at this hotel a couple of times a year as my daughter needs to be in Leeds to see her specialist. Normally I can't fault this hotel. However, this stay was rather different. On arrival the receptionist was extremely rude and miserable, it was as if she hadn't seen a family with 5 children before. Her attitude was disgusting, her manner plain rude and she clearly found it impossible to be polite enough to say hello when the children said hi to her! We entered the room to find it smelt of musty old smoke and there where twix wrappers on the floor and under the beds! Clearly someone had been in there stuffing there face. But as usual the food was excellent, and the rest of the staff were as always very polite and helpful. you accommodate and cater for us very well which makes our regular trip up from Devon much easier, it's just a shame This time certain people let you down. 29 March 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friday night stay 20.03.15 normally good but not this time. Stayed after a business meeting. Like this hotel and it is generally very good. Booked 2 rooms I was informed the hotel was relatively empty yet we were located at the far end of the hotel away from reception and restaurant so had to carry luggage and laptops etc. Wrong room key was allocated so had to travel back to reception and this was resolved quickly professionally and politely. The room was nice enough, slept well and facilities were good too. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster. 8am breakfast 2 groups of people probably totalling 10 people in the restaurant and when I get my cooked buffet breakfast I found it was only "warm" and there was no bacon - coffee and the rest of the cereals and stuff were fine. Unfortunately I was not in the frame of mind to bring this to the attention of the one member of staff on duty so I left without comment. As I have mentioned earlier it is normally a good level of service here and maybe they just had an "off day" but I will still continue to use this hotel unless this type of thing becomes the norm. 24 March 2015

Even had the staff offering to cook fresh food out of hours for me which was really good. Very relaxing environment, I wouldn't hesitate to stay their again, they have a lovely bar area and excellent countryside views. Keep up the good work HI Bradford ! 19 March 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tired and shabby Grout in bathroom stained, what appears to be hardboard around sink area bubbled from moisture, sink very slow to empty needs basic maintenance. Menu limited, portions poor, expensive plenty of eateries nearby luckily. General décor tired and shabby. Staff friendly and polite but appears understaffed at times. Basically needs a full refit 09 March 2015
