First room very musty mould in shower, missing grout, loose tiles on floor flaking paint and stains on shower curtain. Second room cleaner but not by much, passable no better. Room service meal served without cover so not hot, sauce on curry has split into vinegar taste and lumps, rice cold. Complained and was told it was chefs day off and sous chef was looking after the food and the sauce had split whilst being reheated which makes a bit of a joke of all the posters extolling the virtue of 'fresh cooked food'. In all of this the staff told me that they would have investors in tomorrow to pay for a complete gutting and refurb. The whole place is tatty and in need of modernisation and kitchen standard woeful if they thought it was okay to send something that was so obviously unsuitable. I would not have given it to a scabby dog at my back door. Will not go back until the website says refurb is complete

When the GPS said we had arrived, I saw a lovely English farmhouse surrounded by beautiful English countryside. When we entered the parking lot, I loved how the hotel had adopted the architectural style of the the farmhouse that was connected. First impressions are powerful, and everything about our stay reflected Holiday Inn's attention to every detail - our comfort, the food, and making sure all our needs were met. It really felt like we had come home. Thanks, so much.

The hotel is generally fine but some rooms have the smallest bathroom's ever seen in a hotel, I've been in bigger shower cubicles.

good hotel and very attentive and welcoming staff. Seemed to be a little 'worn' since last stay but appreciated the upgrade.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bob Doh Not great!
Waited for 10-15 minutes at reception to be checked in. Paid for executive suite and wasn't given it. Was told I had paid in advance for the room however money came off my credit card after the visit. Receptionist was completely incompetent. Was put in a room right above outside bar area and music plus microphone was on until 12.30 so no chance of getting any sleep before this time. Hotel itself was run down, mattress was horrendous. I travel a lot for work and stay in all sorts of hotels, this hotel stay was actually one for pleasure and not business and it was probably the least pleasurable hotel visit I have ever experienced.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mau11 Lovely hotel in nice, quiet area.
We stayed here on Saturday night and although there was a wedding party, we had a lovely quiet room well away from any noise. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.
We had a delicious curry in the restaurant. (Recommended)
The staff were friendly and polite .
The hotel is handy for both Leeds and Bradford , and is quite easy to find just off the motorway.
Would definitely stay here again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sumo62 Uncomfortable Bed
As stated earlier in survey the staff were friendly and efficient. The star of the weekend was the receptionist Andrea who went out of her way to assist before we even got there.
The bed was the worst ever, the room although very comfortable was in need of some TLC.

Staff are helpful but room service is normally a let down with items missing. Overall it's a bit expensive really.
