The attitude of the staff has improved, along with the professionalism and courtesy. The experience was truly amazing. A suggestion - Why is it still called Holiday "Inn". Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place; sub-par customer service I have mixed reviews about my stay at the holiday inn this time. I usually stay at Holiday Inns and have no troubles. The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. This time, we had some difficulties. When checking in, the staff tried to charge me a higher price than I was confirmed in advance online. Then she said she could meet the price, but it wouldn't include breakfast, ( which I had paid extra for in advance). I didn't see the reason for this. We also had several thousand points from previous stays, and were told nothing was applicable. We get to our room and struggle with the heat for several hours, calling the front desk 3 times. They send someone up who is nice and seems knowledgable, but was ultimately unable to fix the heat. Our room was very cold so we were offered to move to another room. I get the keys to the new room and my handicapped mother and I are not offered any help to move rooms, even though it was due to their issues (and the hotel was not busy in the least). I was just unhappy with the front desk staff. We ate dinner at the lounge. Our waitress who was also the bartender was great. Very sweet and attentive. We also had a waiter who helped her out towards the end and he was great too. 19 January 2015

Eveything from the staff to the breakfast and comfortable beds are wonderful !! And the hotel is pet friendly which is a big plus because now we travel with our small puppy... 06 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New Years Eve Holiday Inn exceeded expectations. We were only here overnight passing on to Boston. The area itself was questionable but the hotel is right off 95 and felt very safe, clean and welcoming. Only down side was a small delay with a group holding up the front desk with questions about thier rate and need to provide a credit card. I do have to admit however, the front desk handled them with patience and professionalism. Nice Lounge and our room was so spacious, clean and quiet. Nice stay. 05 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Visiting for Holiday Classic Hockey We had a great rate for a downtown property and the room was more than adequate. A room with two beds is a bit more difficult as the beds are a smaller twin vs a queen. We ate at the hotel and the food was very reasonably priced and seasoned well enough (though not great.) We were able to walk to the hockey rink for a game (Food at the Limerick Pub is not good, but that is another post) and walk to dinner at Ralph's and Rich's (food very good.) The pool was very warm and the exercise room was all that was necessary. Overall, a good choice and I would return should the need arise to stay in Bridgeport again. 31 December 2014
